A doctor abandons his job in Athens and together with his family (wife and daughter) goes to a quaint, mountainous village called Lestinitsa.The villagers are not willing to accept the doctor as the one who will cure them, as they believe that their health problems are a matter of evil eye and the midwife is the best to cure them!
