I'm highly sympathetic to Udi Aloni and Tamer Nafar's political cause - they and I belong to the same left-wing "camp" as Israelis. That said, "Junction 48" joins the usual choir combining melodrama with moralizing diatribe, and I just don't enjoy cinema that's so blunt and obvious. I don't need my convictions stroked, I prefer the challenge of realistic and complex pictures, and I can't see this nonsensical propaganda piece persuading anyone on the other side of the aisle either.
