Turkey had declared 2012 "The Year of Coal" and entered 2016 with plans of building more than 70 fossil fuel plants in addition to the actively operating 35. The only thing left for us to do as the growing economic pie is divided up by the powers that be is to stand up for our unwatered lands, barely breathable polluted air, and our right to living in a carcinogen-free environment.
