Lambert & Stamp

Not a great documentary but it was enjoyable and left me smiling. An interesting history, and a study of relationships and how they change. The footage shot as the band grew is fascinating, much like the story of the men behind it.

There are very interesting stories and character examinations here, but my favorite aspect of the film is the sheer amount of film and photography, all in amazing quality, of The Who's early days. The social aspect of what's captured makes this film worth seeing even if you're not a fan of The Who or rock music in particular.
