Matana MiShamayim

This is the mid-part of Kosashvili's trilogy which began with "Late Wedding" and ended 20 years later with "The Giants of Easter Islands", and revolves around a Georgian immigrant family in Israel, with elements from the filmmaker's biography. There's little continuity and they're in reverse-chrono order anyway; this part takes place sometimes in the 1980s, I think. It's somewhat inferior to the first and last parts, but is still a good ensemble drama about a crude bunch of characters.
