Williams's shape-shifting network narrative (or is it documentary?)--jumping from Buenos Aires to Mozambique to the Philippines in three linked parts all revolving around listless youth--deeply understands these dynamics and presents us with a mysterious. I'm not against this kind of meditative non-narrative fly-on-the-wall stuff, but this just didn't work for me for long stretches in the movie. For it to have any value as a meditation on the lives of modern youth the people portrayed should be more representative, which I feel they weren't. The shift from Argentina to Mozambique was absolute genius. For a first time director Eduardo Williams does show some promising skills. Let's just hope the subject matter next time matches these skills.

Uninspiring stuff, at best.
