In many ways more interesting--and more fun--than the similarly themed "Celluloid Closet."

Very much an extension/expansion of the same basic concept as Rock Hudson's Home Movies, only this time with a much wider-ranging scope and (somewhat) more technologically sophisticated presentation working in it's favor. Although it does threaten to get sort of repetitive at times, Rappaport still demonstrates that he's almost as much a master of the essay film form as he is in his narrative fiction work. Top notch, engaging (and never less than funny!) stuff for what it is.
