That implies the site isn't already "ruined."

Blindspotting

I'm kind of surprised no one talks about the awful final act in this movie - I seriously bursted out laughing at how ridiculous it was to see some black guy threaten a police officer with a gun through rapping. Not only is this completely unbelievable and absurd, but the police officer's reaction ma...

Re: Star Wars: Episode 9

Frankly, I have very low expectations for the nu-Star Wars films. All of them have been overly safe garbage with zero charm or charisma. At least the prequel movies tried to be something new and for what it's worth it actually did create some neat concepts that'd be utilized by EU content. The new f...

Re: Death of a Nation

I find it hilarious that D'Souza would make a documentary aggrandizing Trump after he pardoned him from his conviction for making illegal campaign contributions in 2012. Really makes ya think! :) In any case, I can't take D'Souza's claims seriously. The entire purpose of this documentary is to lioni...

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story

Han's origin in the EU was much better [than] this soulless drivel. Where is his origin defined in the EU? Books? Comics? And how is it better there ? A multitude of sources... so both, more or less. In any case, what made Han's original origin more interesting is that the EU didn't force him into ...

Re: Describe your favourite movie-going experience of your life

As funny as it is, going to see WWE pay-per-views at the theatre were some of the best "movie" going experiences I've ever had. This is mostly in part because the crowd was more willing to react to what happened on screen and people weren't as inclined to be silent as they usually are with...

Re: Games from Newgrounds(and other flash games)

We have a criteria similar to the "IMDB Rule" we use for movies and TV shows. In order to ensure that it's a valid entry, we look the game up on a couple external database sites, GameFaqs being the main one. If it doesn't appear here, we generally don't accept it into Criticker. Sorry for...

Games from Newgrounds(and other flash games)

I've tried to add games from Newgrounds and other flash games, but I really don't get the crtieria that's accepted here. Why is Pico's School and Dan'N'Me consider acceptable but not something like Disorderly or Johnny Rocketfingers? That makes absolutely no sense to me.

Re: Couple of ideas/requests

I think it should show when you originally rated it and when you re-rated it, but I'm fine with the system as it is now.

Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story

Shallow and boring. It felt like it had something going for the first 30 minutes, but then it kills off a lot of characters you may have had any interest in and then forces the film to rely on Ehrenreich as Solo, who's written in the blandest, boring way imaginable. The plot becomes increasingly pre...
