An 'N/A' rating
I'd like to have the ability to mark a movie as watched, but not give it a rating. Some movies are hard to give ratings to like stand-up comedies or documentaries. There also some other movies (lynch) that I need to rewatch before giving a rating, but I'd like to mark is as watched. I was thinking about just giving them all a 0 or something, but that would skew my recommendations probably. So an 'N/A' or a 'None' rating would be nice.

That's an interesting suggestion... these films would then clearly not be used to calculate TCIs, but I can see how such a thing would be useful -- either because you don't want to rank them, or haven't decided yet.
We've written it down for the future.

Thanks for the consideration.

Till this feature is added you can create a private/hidden collection to collect the movies you want to mark as watched.

There are some movies which I want to write a mini-review for, but do not want to rank. Currently, I don't think this is possible. Adding this feature will enable this.
If you know enough about the movie so as to write a review, why would you not want to rank it? Or is it that you haven't seen the movie? If that's the case, you shouldn't be writing a review for it.

No. These are for movies I have seen but don't want to rank.
I mainly use criticker to get recos for English movies. So I rank mostly only English movies.
Reviews only make sense if there is a corresponding ranking for it. So say you are praising a movie, but hasn't put down a ranking, we don't know if was a 100 or 90 or 80 according to you...same thing if you are trashing a movie. In any case, with collections and filters, you can make sure that no non-English movies show up in your recommendations.

I don't want my non-English rankings to skew my TCIs & PSIs. That can't be avoided by filters or recommendations.
Use 2 different Criticker accounts.

Re: An 'N/A' rating
This thread reminded me that I wanted to suggest something like this. There are films I recall seeing but don't remember well enough to apply a fair rating. I guess the collection feature is a good work-around for now.

Yeah, I would definitely use this. Especially for all the films I watched as a child that I remember, but not well enough to rank.
