When a group of VIPs and their families, including cabinet minister Bharathan Menon (Prathapachandran), are kidnapped by a bunch of criminals, led by an ex-convict Charles (Lalu Alex), and a ransom of Rs. 5 crore (2.5 crores in American Dollars & 2.5 crores in gold) & the release of 4 of their jailed gang members is demanded, an ex-cop and commando, Ali Imran (Mohanlal), is brought in by DIG Menon (Sukumaran) to secure their release.
Malini Laxman (Madhavi), a PhD student invents a vaccine which would make a human immune to narcotics, but the formula gets stolen from her, her husband killed & she jailed for selling drugs, in a plot masterminded by her professor Ramamoorthy (Charu Haasan), Poonthurayil Itty (Rajan P. Dev) & Police commissioner Sathyanathan (Soman). Malini ends up in Mumbai where she becomes wealthy from the Mumbai Underworld & returns as Aparna, to take revenge on the people responsible for her losses.

The propeller aircraft of Indian Army officers Capt. Suresh G. Nair (Suresh Gopi) & Capt. Rajiv Kumar (Vijayaraghavan), on their way to the naval base to deliver some top-secret documents, comes under bad weather & crashes over the jungles of Thevarkottai. Inaccessible due to geographical challenges & resistance by indigenous tribes, the army turns to skilled commando, Capt. Roy Jacob Thomas (Mohanlal), who now has to set aside his personal enmity with Capt. Suresh G. Nair, to rescue them.

Sriraman) & Commissioner of Police Ravishankar (Sathar), after they murder Shekar's wife & daughter. Alexander had plans to bulldoze the market as he claimed the land for himself, which Sultan & PWD Minister Kesavan Nair (Thilakan) opposed.
Bharathan (Babu Antony), after his gangster father Vettukadan's (Narendra Prasad) death, returns to Chathan Colony where he is forced to step into his father's shoes & become a gangster himself. In this sequel to 'Mimics Parade (1991)', Jimmy (Asokan) leaves 'Kaladarshana' after a fight & forms his own mimicry troupe 'Yuvadarshana' to compete with Unni (Jagadish), Sabu (Siddique) & Co. Meanwhile, Kasim (Babu Antony), Kasarkode Khaderbai's (Alummoodan) son, arrives from Mumbai to seek revenge against the Kaladarshana artists for sending his father to jail.
