Nandini (Revathi), is an illegitimate child who comes to Ooty, in search of her father who is a retired chief justice of supreme court. She finds Joji (Mohanlal), a tourist guide and acts as though she is mad and takes shelter in his home. Eventually she reveals her true identity and they slowly begin to fall in love. Mohan Kumar (Suresh Gopi) is a young political firebrand whose power and influence is on the rise. In mysterious circumstances, his wife Reshmi (Sindhu Menon), a prominent social personality, commits suicide. Since the couple was not known to have had any marital discord, the police are entrusted with the task of unraveling the circumstances of her death. The step-brother of Mohan Kumar, Detective Shyama Prasad (Suresh Gopi), is put in charge of the case.

When Balakrishnan (Saikumar) finds that the job for which he came to the city for, has gone to Rani (Rekha), he decides to fight & stays on in the city as a paying guest with Mannar Mathai (Innocent), a failed drama troupe owner. Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) is his other paying guest, who dislikes Balakrishnan. When they get a wrong number call from Ramji Rao (Vijayaraghavan), who has kidnapped the daughter of Urumees Thampan (Devan), a rich businessman, Gopalakrishnan hatches a daring plan.

Vijay Menon, a captain in the Indian army, on his way home on vacation, finds a badly bruised and beaten up journalist, Kumaran (Thilakan), by the side of the road and takes him to the hospital. When Kumaran dies the next day, and the police didn't seem to care to follow up on his death and catch the culprits, Vijay Menon decides to take matters into his own hands and investigate Kumaran's death, aided by his friend and sidekick Kutti Hassan (Jagathi Sreekumar).

Raju (Jagadish), who comes to the city in search of a job, woos Shyama (Sunitha) with the help of his old friend Williams (Siddique), & in the process Williams also fall in love with Shyama's friend Mercy (Suchitra). Later, Raju & Williams, who start a video store business, cover a political function, where they accidentally tape someone explode a bomb which kills the Chief Minister. This lands them in trouble, & they go on the run, with both the bad guys & the cops after them, wanting the tape.

Solomon Joseph (Prithviraj), a corrupt & arrogant SI of Rajakkadu, Idukki, locks horns with ex-MLA Ummachan (Devan) over his younger brother Dennis's arrest & later Dennis dies in police custody by Solomon's hands. Solomon gets transferred to Badhiyadukka, Kasargod. In Badhiyadukka, Solomon alienates a local bigwig Arrackal Aboobecker Haji (Captain Raju) & he is attacked & left to die by his Haji's son Sharief. Solomon takes this incident to be a punishment for his past sins & becomes repentant.

Sam Alexander (Mohanlal), a motor mechanic who runs 'Sam's Garage', meets & falls in love with Sreedevi Menon (Kanchan), daughter & heir of the affluent Meleveettil family, whom he also wished to cast in his drama production as the character 'Shakunthala'. Sreedevi's family opposes this, & aided by their family friends, IG of Police Ravindran Nair (Vijayakumar) & his son Rajkumar, who have their own plans of getting hold of the wealth of the Meleveettil family, tries to destroy the relationship.

Dr. Annie (Heera) completes her studies in the US & returns to join her uncle David Kurishinkal's (Soman) 'Span Hospital', to practice under famed surgeon Dr. Roy Mathews (Mohanlal). Annie initially thinks Roy is a boor & hates him, but soon she sees his humanitarian side & they fall in love & get married. When Roy was out of town, Annie stumbles upon an internal organ racket in the hospital. She is killed & the blame falls on Roy. Roy escapes from jail to find Annie's killer - a one-armed man.

Annie (Deepa Nair) returns from Singapore with her father Joshua (Devan), with the secret aim of finding her old childhood pal Benny. She finally finds Benny (Kunchako Boban), who is now caring for his late sister's 3 kids. Annie befriends the kids & hides out in Benny's house without revealing herself to him. Meanwhile, Benny's boss Avarachan's (N.F. Varghese) daughter Nancy (Sruthi Raj) makes overtures towards Benny, much to the annoyance of the kids, who hated her & preferred Annie to Nancy.

Anjana (Khushboo), the forsook daughter of famous politico Vishwanatha Menon (Madhu), comes to him demanding that he recognize her & her mother Prabhadevi (K.R. Vijaya). Hearing about this, Vishwanatha Menon's adopted son Devan (Ganesh Kumar) recruits don Chandrasenan (Narendra Prasad) to kill Anjana. Not knowing this, Chandrasenan's younger brother Vishnu (Suresh Gopi), another toughie, had already promised to protect Anjana. Both brothers, adamant to keep their word, turns against each other.

Two friends - Sethumadhavan aka Sethu (Jayaram) & Roy (Mukesh) - after trying out various odd jobs, decide to steal, which lands them in jail. After their release, they part ways & Sethu starts working in a tea estate in Sooryagiri, posing as Albert Alex, with Albert's certificates given to him by their friend Chakkunni (Jagathi). When a criminal dies in an accident with Albert's work address in his pocket, cop Isaac Thomas's attention falls on Sethu. Sethu & Roy tries to find the real Albert.

Malayala Shabdam daily, owned by the Ezhuthupura Veedu family whose matriarch is famous poetess Vishwalaksmi Thampuratti (Rohini Hattangadi), is in trouble with the newly appointed manager Anantharaman (Ratheesh) slowly arrogating it, using the real owner Rama Varma (Devan) as a puppet. Rama Varma's younger brother Ravi Varma aka Aniyan (Mohanlal) vows to win back the paper by hook or crook, & sets out to be rich with the help of ex-goon Pareed (Captain Raju) & takes to smuggling illicit liquor.

Yamuna Prasad (Rajan P. Dev), one part of the popular music director duo Yamuna Prasad-Ganga Prasad, who were working as the judges of reality show Singer Star, goes missing, & days later, his severed arm turns up in a dumpster. CI Wahid Abdul Rahman Haji (Kalabhavan Mani) takes up the case & arrests sanyasi Parashuram Bhattathiri (Suresh Gopi), who was staying in the same hotel as Yamuna Prasad, in the process. An irked Bhattathiri challenges Wahid that he will solve the case before him.

Ex-gangster Zakir Ali Hussain (Mohanlal), settled in Cochin, takes up arms again after an attempt on the life of his father figure Haji Mustafa (Anupam Kher), by Mumbai-based don Raman Naik (Mahesh Anand). Zakir kills Raman, creating a void in the underworld which businessman & kingmaker Balaraman (Shammi Thilakan) asks Zakir to fill. Zakir's refusal pits him against the coterie of Balaraman, his partner Devadevan Nambiar (Vijayaraghavan) & Kerala Home Minister Lahel Vakkachan (N.F. Varghese).

Ravindranath (Mammootty), living with his Hindi-speaking wife Seetha (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) & two daughters in Bhilai, had left home for 18 years. When his coworker Hameed (Vishnuprakash) dies in an accident at the steel plant, Ravi & family finally comes to Kerala, accompanying Hameed's body. Reaching home, what Ravi saw was his hapless mother Lakshmi (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) surrounded by greedy & selfish family members. Not willing to let his family go to ruins, Ravi tries to set things straight.

A group of anthropology students, under the oversight of Prof. Shankaranarayanan (Raghavan), comes to the remote forest area of Muthuvan Mala, to study the tribal life there. One of the students, Sunny (Nishanth Sagar), unleashes the spirit of Neeli (Vani Viswanathan), a ghost seeking revenge against the Thripangod royal family, one of whom had killed her & her lover. After Neeli starts killing off the students one by one, sorcerer Vadakkedath Namboothiri (Prathapachandran) is summoned.

Ananthan Thampi, an aspirant bodybuilder sworn to celibacy, gets trapped in a marriage with Ganga (Meena), after he thinks the marriage is just a drama & believes his cohorts Rajappan (Jagadish) & Varadappan's (Premkumar) words that Ganga was really in love with Aravindan (Vijayakumar) & that Thampi would just be keeping Ganga safe till Aravindan returns. However, when he learns that there was nothing between Ganga & Aravindan, he tries to get rid of Ganga, causing chaos in his family & Ganga's.

Teshildar Priyadarsini (Nandini) refuses to give up her office to newly appointed Teshildar Ramakrishnan (Sreenivasan) & gets Sagar Kottappuram (Mohanlal), Ramakrishnan's pal & famous novelist, arrested for mistakenly entering her house. Sagar gets Priyadarsini suspended & Ramakrishnan assumes office, but in revenge, Priyadarsini frames them both for rape. Abased & angry, Sagar starts a sensational serial novel called 'Oru Gazetted Yakshi' in 'Manjadi' magazine, to sully Priyadarsini's repute.

Best friends Eby (Kunchako Boban) & Sona (Shalini) were born on the same day, grew up together, are neighbors & goes to the same college. After they had to stay apart for a week for the first time, Eby develops feelings of love towards Sona, but stifles them, afraid of Sona's response & also because Sona had responded to overtures from college mate Prakash Mathew (Boban Alumoodan). However, when Sona realizes that marrying Prakash means leaving Eby, she also realizes her love towards Eby.

Ex-smuggler & businessman Ananthan (Madhu) gets arrested in a politically motivated move by business rivals Chekkudi brothers, Mathew (Devan) & Cherian (Murali). Ananthan's son Arjun (Mohanlal), who was studying & romancing in Bangalore, returns to Kerala to take reins of Ananthan's business empire & to release Ananthan, but is repeatedly harassed by Chekkudi brothers & their coterie. Finally, when Ananthan is shot dead by the Chekkudi brothers, Arjun snaps & seeks revenge in his own terms.

Mohammed Sarkar IPS (Suresh Gopi) is appointed by the government to investigate the shooting death of Rahim Haji (Narendra Prasad), a prominent community leader & ex-MP. Knowing that it was Rahim Haji's rival Narendra Shetty who was probably behind the murder, Sarkar investigates, but finds it difficult to procure solid evidence against Shetty. As Sarkar delves deeper, he discovers Shetty's involvement in illegal arms dealings & tries to expose him & break Shetty's empire.

Shankar & Sivan, who loved music, gets a break to form a band called 'Millennium Stars' with record label head Nair (Devan), & strikes it big, whilst Karunan turns to crime. Ahuja, head of a rival record label, uses Karunan as a pawn & breaks 'Millennium Stars' up. Shankar & Sivan goes solo, but after they flop, finally team up again. An angry Ahuja plans to kill Shankar & Sivan.

Journalist G. Krishnamoorthy aka GK (Mammootty) is crippled & jailed by minister Shankar (Devan) & politico Panicker (Jagannatha Varma), after GK tries to expose them for raping his friend Maria Fernandez (Sumalatha). After his release, GK helps four convicts, whom he befriended in jail, escape, uses them to pick off his political enemies & helps himself to first dibs on the news for his paper 'New Delhi Diary'. His sister Uma's (Urvashi) lover & staff newsman Suresh (Suresh Gopi) smells a rat.

Hari (Vineeth) travels to Varanasi after his M.Phil. to do research in North Indian folk arts, where circumstances force him to shelter a girl Amritha (Kavya Madhavan) from evil gangster Kishanchand (Suresh Krishna). Kishanchand catches up with them, brutally assaults Hari & takes Amritha away. Hari returns to Kerala, but has to spurn his childhood cousin/lover Devu (Navya Nair) as he had slept with Amritha. A devastated Devu commits suicide & Hari returns to Varanasi & seeks solace in drugs.

Ravi Varma (Kunchako Boban), in desperate need to raise 15 lakhs to get his father Prabhakara Varma (Nedumudi Venu) out of a swindling case for which he was currently jailed, meets master conman Jerry Mathew (Jayasurya) & the two hatch a scheme to defraud NRI millionaire Emir Harish Rahman (Devan) by selling him a fake painting, supposedly painted by renowned painter Raja Ravi Varma. In the process, Jerry & Ravi starts outdoing & double-crossing each other to get the proceeds for oneself.

Dr. Vinayachandran (Mammootty), a cardiologist & a Hindu, marries Neena (Suhasini), a Christian girl whom he meets in Ooty, after she surmounts her family's stiff opposition. However, soon after giving birth to a girl child, Vineetha, Neena dies in an accident & a distraught Vinayachandran leaves Ooty with Vineetha. Years later, Vineetha & Vinayachandran return to Ooty for a vacation, but Vinayachandran now has to fend off Neena's family who wants them, especially Vineetha, to stay back in Ooty.

Inspector General of Police Durgaprasad IPS (Suresh Gopi) investigates the roots of a bomb blast which took place in Chala, Trivandrum & the murder of Home Secretary Paul Joseph (V.K. Sriraman). His efforts pits him against the coterie of ex-minister Beerankutty (Saikumar), businessman Skaria Zacharia (Ashish Vidyarthi) & city police commissioner Vijay Basker (Subair). Durgaprasad also learns of a mole in his team who worked for Skaria & tries to smoke him out.

Honest ex-cop Shekhar Joseph (Lalu Alex) teams up with Sultan (Babu Antony), the leader of the head load workers of the Calicut market, to battle the evil coterie of millionaire businessman & underworld don Alexander (Devan), trade unionist Ummer Haji (V.K. Sriraman) & Commissioner of Police Ravishankar (Sathar), after they murder Shekar's wife & daughter. Alexander had plans to bulldoze the market as he claimed the land for himself, which Sultan & PWD Minister Kesavan Nair (Thilakan) opposed.

Police Commissioner Daya Shankar (Suresh Gopi) joins dreaded mobster GV's (Siddique) gang as his man Friday & takes the name of "Beda Dosthe" (Big Friend), after his long struggle to bring GV to justice resulted in Daya's family getting decimated. But after GV double-crosses him & the rest of the gang members, they eliminate GV & Daya assumes leadership. Daya veers the gang away from for-profit crime & into charity work, but the new Commissioner Zakir Ali (Manoj K. Jayan) gets hot on his tail.

Businessman & head of the Himalayan group of companies, Mukundan Menon (Murali) gets framed for stealing money from his company, causing his daughter Nandana (Roja) to beseech the help of hotshot lawyer Sarathchandran (Suresh Gopi) to vindicate Menon. Sarathchandran, with the help of Deputy Commissioner of Police Alexander N. Koshy (Devan), traces Menon's case back to politicos Bhuvaneshwar Tripathi & S. Krishnadas (Ratheesh), who had plans to tip the current Indian government & start their own.

Kunjumon (Ajaykumar),a midget, has a great relationship with his normal-sized adult son Alby (Jayaram) & together they run a successful catering service, but when they have a misunderstanding & Alby denounces Kunjumon, he attempts suicide. The incident affects Kunjumon's nervous system causing him to behave like a small kid. Kunjumon's antics starts to wreck his son Alby's life causing for Alby's wife, Ancy (Kanika), to walk out on him with their baby.

Two best friends, Vasu (Mammootty) & Chacko (Ratheesh), who starts off with petty spirit smuggling for liquor baron Sreekantan (T.G. Ravi) starts their own venture after an altercation with Sreekantan. They soon rise to the top of the business, ruthlessly mowing down everyone in their path, including Sreekantan & also forget their roots in the process. Sreekantan's widow Kanakam (Jayamalini) teams up with Sreekantan's old business partner K.R.C. (B. Thyagarajan) to bring Vasu & Chacko down.

Kannan (Jagadish), a government office peon, marries Radhika (Rekha), a postgraduate bank employee, in a major mix-up at the temple. Stuck with him per her father's wishes, but repulsed at the thought of being the wife of an unsophisticated & undereducated man, Radhika spurns his advances. Seeking advice from his best friends Govindan (Jagathi Sreekumar) & Hari (Siddique), Kannan tries various ways to woo her and win her heart.

Dr. P. K. Haridas (Mohanlal), in repentance for inadvertently causing the death of freshman medical student Unnikrishnan (Vineeth) during a hazing routine while in college, takes up the care & protection of Unnikrishnan's impoverished Brahmin family. In the process, Haridas alienates his relatives & his cousin/girlfriend Bhanu (Geetha).

Devadas (Devadas), a young boy, drinks a potion brewed by scientist R.C. Shekar (Jackie Shroff) which makes him invisible, with the aim of rescuing Maya (Kavya Madhavan) who had adopted Devadas as a child, but who was in mortal danger for having videotaped an illegal transaction involving political bigwigs. In between trying to rescue Maya, a gunshot wound sparks off a chemical reaction in Devadas, turning him into a hulk-like monster.

Erudite mystic Pattazhi Madhavan (Mammootty) descends on the haunted mansion of Nelloor Mana in the Chembara village to unlock the secrets behind the death of his younger brother Kunjunni (Mammootty), who had died in the mansion pool. In exorcising the mansion, Madhavan has to contend with the powerful & vengeful spirit of Savitri (Dhanya Mary Varghese), who infested the mansion.

Vishnu (Vineeth Kumar) comes to join Padmanabha Menon's (Nedumudi Venu) textile mill as a textile designer & falls in love with bubbly village belle Kanmashi (Nithya Das). Business magnate Joseph Thomas (Captain Raju) is killed, & his friend Kolappulli Govindan (Devan) is framed for it. Later, Kolappulli too is killed, & this time coolie 'Chala' Vasu, who considered Joseph & Kolappulli amongst his father-figures, gets the blame, in a scheme engineered by Bapputty Haji (Vijayaraghavan), Marthandan Velayudhan (Raghu), ex-MP Rajashekaran (Sadiq) & MLA Sudhakaran (Subair), after a real estate deal goes sour. Vasu then gets out on bail & tries to prove his innocence.

Gangster Bava (Thilakan) seeks revenge against Mahendra Varma (Narendra Prasad) of the royal Krishnapuram palace for the atrocities Varma had done to Bava in his younger days. For that, Bava gets out on bail, Varma's son-in-law Hariprasad (Suresh Gopi), who was accused & jailed for having murdered Varma's daughter Lakshmi (Kanaka). Bava's aim was to cause mental anguish to Varma & to later kill Hariprasad & blame that on Varma too, but Hariprasad catches onto Bava's game & tries to outwit him.

Gokul Das aka 'G' (Dileep), a reformed thug, takes up a job as a driver at the house of rich businessman Vishwanathan (Devan), where he tries to save Vishwanathan's daughter Sreepriya (Roma) from a group of contract killers. Escaping a kidnapping attempt from the group, G & Sreepriya gets lost in the jungle, causing back home, everyone, including ASP Ramachandran (Siddique), Vishwanathan's friend, suspects G & Sreepriya of having eloped together.

Bus owner & conductor Zakir Hussain (Mammootty) gets into a mess when his nephew Najeeb's (Jayasurya) pregnant girlfriend Sugandhi (Bhavana) shows up, after she leaves her own home for good to be with Najeeb. With Najeeb away in Dubai for work & Zakir's own sister Celina's (Mamtha Mohandas) wedding around the corner, Zakir tries to hide Sugandhi till Najeeb got back, with disastrous results.

Krishnamurthy (Mohanlal), a Brahmin youth, lands a job with the Calcutta Construction company to evacuate the impoverished, but troublesome residents of the infamous 'Vietnam Colony'. Krishnamurthy devises a scheme to evacuate them, but later when he learns that he was duped by the company, he takes the side of the colony residents.

When businessman Chandrasekhara Menon (Devan) decides to wind down his businesses in Singapore & move back to Kochi to look after his hotel there, his hotel manager Sreedharan Unnithan (Kalasala Babu) & sons fabricate a plot to jail Menon in Singapore, with the aim of getting the hotel for themselves. Menon's daughter Lakshmi (Sneha) comes down to Kochi to sell the hotel & seeks the help of 'Gulan' Kunjumon (Mammootty), Menon's old friend Kochu Thoma's son, to get back the control of the hotel.

Vishwanathan (Suresh Gopi), a business grad-turned-farmer, kills mobster Sudhakar Reddy (Ganesh Kumar) to avenge the death of his sister Revathi (Mathu). Vishwanathan is saved from Reddy's goons by Reddy's arch rival, gangster Patel (Devan), & sheltered in a brothel he runs. There, Vishwanathan saves damsel in distress, Gauri (Annie), & they both go on the run. Now, hunted by both Reddy's & Patel's goons & betrayed by the people they trusted, Vishwanathan & Gauri has to make it back to Kerala.

Fresh off the success of his award-winning novel, Sethunath (Jayaram) grants an exclusive interview to persistent reporter Aneesa (Sharika Menon), to whom he reveals his inspiration - his long-gone lover Priyanandini (Sada), who came into his life when he was living an unhappy & withdrawn life as an advertising executive, separated from his estranged wife Manju (Shari). Although circumstances does not allow them to unite, Priyanandini inspires Sethunath to write his magnum opus.

Ananthapadmanabhan aka Ananthan (Mammootty), a fiercely idealistic doctor, testifies against a wealthy criminal, Idicula Abraham (Devan), who gets out of jail after 7.5 years, vowing to make Ananthan's life hell. The headstrong District Collector Joseph Alex (Mammootty) takes on powerful politician Jayakrishnan (Murali), after the latter engineers a communal riot to disrupt the city's law & order & tries to use the opportunity to seize power.

Dr. Savithri (Sumalatha) is forced to save the life of the person she hated the most - death row convict Aravindan (Mammootty), who had killed her father Madhava Menon (Karamana Janardanan Nair), after he escapes from jail & is subsequently shot by the cops. After saving Aravindan's life, Savithri gets a chance to listen to the circumstances regarding the murder from nurse Tresa (Parvathi), which puts things in a different light for her & she starts thinking about letting Aravindan escape again.

Soorya Narayanan (Mammootty), an orthodox Brahmin man leading a normal disciplined life, once in an attempt to rescue his pet parrot, climbs a tall tree, gets vertiginous & has to be rescued. The incident affects his mind, making him clairvoyant, & amongst other things, he makes predictions about disasters, a crooked company adulterating baby food & finally his own death.

After Home Minister Sudhakaran's (Devan) daughter Meenakshi (Kavya Madhavan) is kidnapped, a mercenary fighter from the Mumbai underworld, Christy (Mohanlal), is hired to save her. Christy saves Meenakshi, but gets accused & jailed for the murder of her kidnapper, Georgekutty (Suresh Krishna), who also happened to be Christy's estranged brother-in-law. Averring his innocence & determined to prove it, Christy escapes from police custody & stays on in town to find Georgekutty's real killer.

Usurer Purushu (Mammootty), called 'parunthu' (eagle) for the merciless way he swooped down on his delinquent clients, wrecks the family of Hemant (Jagathi) & his two daughters Rakhi (Lakshmi Rai) & Bhuvana (Poornitha), after he abases Hemant for default, during Rakhi's betrothal. Purushu's foe Kallayi Azeez (Jayakumar) seizes the opportunity & helps the family, with the aim of bedding the girls. When Purushu turns over a new leaf after a near fatal incident, he becomes the girls' guardian.

Spoilt brat Jagan (Kuldeep) gets thrown out of the house by his elder brother Vikramaditya Varma (Devan) for drag racing & causing damage. He heads to the bar to have a few drinks where it gets worse, with Hazari (Irshad), brother of dreaded don Ikhtar (Manoj K. Jayan), getting murdered in an accident & Jagan assumed to be the murderer. Ikhthar sets his men after Jagan, & Jagan goes on the run, with the clock vigorously ticking away.

After Balu (Jayaram) & Soorya (Sheela) fall in love & get married, but are unable to start a life because of Balu being broke, Soorya decides to try her luck as an actress in a new film, while Balu pretends to be her makeup man, to be close to her. However, ego issues & misunderstandings soon take over & they part ways. To get Soorya back, Balu returns as a makeup man again for a co-actress of Soorya's, but Soorya's director Siddarth (Siddique) has taken a fancy to her, complicating things.

Vinayachandran (Prithviraj), a teacher, comes to the remote village of Vannanmala and tries to reform the run-down local public school which had a poor academic record.

Priyadarshan (Jayasurya), a do-gooder simpleton, falls in love with his rich neighbor, Meera (Bhama), mistaking her to be a maid servant. Meanwhile, a temporary job which Priyadarshan got when his predecessor Vyshakan (Manoj K. Jayan) went on a long leave, is jeopardized when Vyshakan decides to join back. Vyshakan, a struggling director, demands that Priyadarshan find a movie financier for him, in return for giving up his job.

Bhaskaran (Kalabhavan Mani), an illiterate trucker, wanting to give his son Kunjunni (Ashwin Thampi) the education he didn't have, takes him to Ooty, & enrolls him in one of the top schools there. However, when Kunjunni takes a fancy to a sophisticated & rich stranger, Anand (Biju Menon), gets close to him & starts calling him "Daddy", Bhaskaran feels like he was losing Kunjunni.

Three friends - Vinod Kumar (Asif Ali), Santosh George (Nishan) & Kochumon (Abhishek Raveendran) - go through a lot of personal sacrifices to unite their friend Mahesh (Vineeth Kumar) & his lover Aishwarya (Amala Paul), but after learning that the couple separated just after a few days of fun & frolic, they decide to take their anger out by killing them.

Unnikrishnan (Vinu Mohan) is just out jail, having served a sentence of 12 years, & is looking for revenge. The men who had conspired to destroy his family & his life & put him behind bars - D.I.G. Somasundaram, DySP Narayanan (Kollam Ajith), S.I. Rajan (Santhosh) & lawyer Chandradas (Kalasala Babu) - were still roaming free, & he starts knocking them off, one by one. Aiding Unnikrishnan in his mission was smuggler Masthan (Shankar), his old jail cellmate & himself an enemy of the coterie.

Johny, a lorry driver & serial womanizer, moves to the sleepy hamlet of Thalappally with his wife Lissy (Kiran Rathod), daughter Jeena, a distant relative (Kulappulli Leela) & her niece Sophie (Oviya). Later, he is nabbed by the cops for the rape & murder of Sophie & his own daughter & for stabbing his wife to death. The stories are embellished by the police & Johny is sent to jail until Assistant Commissioner David J. Mathew (Prithviraj) smells a rat & arrives on the scene to uncover the truth.

Frustrated by her mediocre life not befitting a doctor's wife in her mind, Subalakshmi (Sona Nair) pushes her husband, homeopath Bhargavan Pillai (Innocent), to live beyond their means, including pledging their house to contest a Panchayath election & hocking his scooter to buy dresses for a wedding. All excesses come home to roost however, when their actions culminate in the bank arriving to possess their house for failure to repay their debts.

Nandagopan (Dileep), a young man, approaches South Indian superstar Suryakiran (Kalabhavan Mani) to make a film based on a script he wrote, set in his village. Suryakiran rejects it, but Nandagopan leaves the script behind. Suryakiran reads the script later & is so moved by it that he decides to make the movie. As the shooting of the movie, which was based on a local communist leader Raghavan (Thalaivasal Vijay), progresses, powerful forces led by minister Thampan (Devan), tries to block it.

At the famous Lakshmipuram palace, princess Lakshmi (Mathu) is 3 months away from becoming major, & the palace receiver Sivashankaran is scared of her asking for the palace accounts, which would expose the peculation he committed. Sivashankaran tries to get Lakshmi to marry his son Sudhakaran (Vijayaraghavan), but fails. Lakshmi's cousin Ravi Varma (Devan) who had his eye on her & her assets, comes down to marry her, but she takes a fancy to her music teacher Vishnu (Saikumar) & elopes with him.

Four ex-convicts - Aliyar (Thilakan), Ramayyan (Raghu), Hamsa (Babu Antony) & Antony (Mammootty) - serve life sentences & come out with the intention of murdering Haridas (Vishnuvardhan) & his 3 daughters, the ex-cop who was responsible for their arrests & the death of their families. They finally get to Haridas, but when he reveals on his deathbed that one of his 3 children was actually Antony's daughter, Antony is forced to turn against his friends to protect the girls.

Madhavan (Saikumar), the influential bigwig & father figure of the village of Chandragiri is killed by foes from his past who descends on the village. Madhavan's son, college student Arjun (Prithviraj), is forced to take up his father's mantle after Madhavan's death & seeks revenge for his father's death.

Gopikrishnan (Mammootty), a guard at the Vellimala dam, claims to be a war veteran, but is the subject of ridicule in Vellimala because of him being scared of night shifts & because of his claims of seeing ghosts. Varghese (Sreenivasan), the incorruptible new dam engineer stumbles onto a plot by the high & powerful to cast the dam as unsafe thereby evacuating the surrounding village so that they could illegally mine the sand from the dam. Then Varghese goes missing & Gopi swears to find him.

Middle-aged couple Ranjith (Siddique) & Anitha (Shwetha Menon) goes through some tensions after Anitha gets pregnant at 40 & decides to keep the baby against Ranjith's wishes. Their teenage son, Pranav (Ashwin), grapples with his own demons after he locks a female friend, Pratibha, inside his steel cupboard & loses the key. Stressed out, Pranav breaks down & is whisked away by his parents to their home village, but Pranav spends every minute in fear that Pratibha was probably dead by then.

Rajiv Nair (Anoop Menon), a good-hearted & upright veterinarian, leading a happy life with his wife Renuka (Meghana Raj) & 2 daughters, struggles to save up enough to build his dream house. Frustrated, he finally resorts to misusing his official position & taking bribes to raise cash for a new house. Trying to cut corners, he takes a trip to Karnataka to buy granite for his new house & ends up being accused for murder after an altercation where he is forced to defend himself.

Journo Chitra Narayan (Simran) comes in possession of evidence which ties the murder of a high-end call girl Anita Kulkarni (Nirosha) to powerful Delhi politician Paul B. Isaac (Devan). However, Paul frames Chitra's boyfriend Kiran Varma (Akshay Anand) for the crime, by digitally swapping his face with Kiran's in the crime video. Escaping Paul, Chitra ends up in Madras, where she is sheltered by computer whiz & businessman Satheesh Menon (Mammootty), who also uncovers the video alteration.

Sree (Jomon), an ambitious young man & his pal Madhavan (Harisree Asokan) stumble across a Blackberry phone mistakenly left behind by a gangster (Baburaj) in a movie theater. The phone turns out to be the conduit through which the gangster was getting his jobs, which Sree started using for himself. Meanwhile, the Home Minister's (Devan) daughter Sreedevi (Mythili) is kidnapped & ends up in Sree's hands. With the goons chasing the phone & the cops looking for Sreedevi, Sree goes on the run.

Kunchacko (Asif Ali), who grew up stealing bicycles along with his friends Ramesh (Saiju Kurup) & Rahim (Bineesh Kodiyeri) & mentor Bose Prakash (Salim Kumar), falls out with them after a heist goes wrong & Ramesh runs off with 3 crores. 5 years later, Kunchacko is in another city working as a driver for lawyer Kasinath (Vijay Nath) & running con jobs in his spare time. He meets bank employee Meera (Aparna Gopinath) & weaves plans to rob the bank where Meera works.

Ace lawyer Sathya Mohan (Kunchako Boban), who was fresh off freeing a rapist Kurian Jose (Suraaj Venjarammoodu), takes up the case of Maya (Namitha Pramod), a young woman who had attempted suicide after a love failure. In her suicide note, she had implicated her ex-boy friend Abhay (S.V. Krishna Shankar), & Abhay's dad had hired Sathya to make the issue go away. In an attempt to persuade Maya to withdraw the case, Sathya takes her out on a long drive where they become good friends.

Darshan Das & Wilson Morais (Rajan P. Dev) are former friends turned rivals in the textile industry. Das gets a leg up when her US-educated daughter Priyadarshini takes over the reins of his business. After seeing that he was losing the battle, Morais tries to endanger Priyadarshini. Gautham Vishwanath (Suresh Gopi) is appointed as her new bodyguard, but Gautham had ulterior motives besides just protecting Priyadarshini - to avenge the death of his family at the hands of Morais 20 years ago.

In this anti-abortion screed, Sahadevan (Sreenivasan), a vet, takes it upon himself to save the fetus of unwed lovers Geethu (Shritha Sivadas) & Faizal (Arjun Lakshmi Narayan) after the couple decides that an abortion is the only way to save their faces. Initially reluctant, Sahadevan is goaded to action when the fetus takes the form of a human boy & tags him around. Meanwhile, Faizal's dad Alikkoya (Jagadish) schemes to get Geethu to an abortionist, Dr. Isaac (Asokan), to end the pregnancy.

The palace of Adithyapuram, which had a long history of bloodshed over the treasure stored in its cellar & after 41 years, the doors of the cellar were finally being opened to the heirs waiting to get their hands on it. A seasoned thief & conman (Mohanlal) arrives at the palace in the guise of an appraiser of jewels & antiques, with the intention of stealing the collection.

Chandrachoodan (Suresh Gopi) targets international terrorist Musharraf Ibrahim (Hemant Ravan) & has to lock horns with Balasubramaniam (Siddique), Ibrahim's powerful partner, in addition to Ibrahim. Nirupama takes up pesticide-free organic farming, starts a trend & becomes famous.

B.K. Menon, a business tycoon based in Doha, Qatar, wishes for his daughter's wedding to be done in a traditional Kerala style feast. Menon & his friend movie star Mohanlal (himself) invite famous chef Valliyottu Thirumeni (Nedumudi Venu) to take up the catering for the wedding reception. Thirumeni, his son Balashankar (Indrajith), & family go to Doha, but circumstances force Balu to take over from his father after Thirumeni falls ill.

Annamma (Roma) & Chandy (Aju Varghese) get engaged, but the day before the wedding, Chandy elopes to be with another girl, informing his mother that he will be in Bali, Indonesia. Annamma follows him to the island to know the reason why Chandy ditched her, but there her life changes forever as she makes new friends & breaks out of her shell.

Mrinalini (Nikki Galrani), who wins the Booker Prize for her book 'Rudrasimhasanam', visits Manavathoor Kovilakam, her now derelict ancestral home, where she recalls her past. Mrinalini is in fact Haimavathi, the daughter of Neelakanta Raja (Devan), who was killed by an elephant. After his death, Haimavathi realizes that her dad's assistant Sivathanu (Nedumudi Venu) is not who he seems to be, & is after her. But then arrives Rudrasimhan (Suresh Gopi), a mystic who vows to protect Haimavathi.

Auto-rickshaw driver Manickam (Rajnikant) is a do-gooder who avoids violence at all costs. Manickam romances rich kid Nagma, whose father is a criminal, and knows a dirty secret about his would-be son-in-law. She then meets with Vijay Rai, both fall in love and decide to get married much to the chagrin of Avinash who asks Vijay to leave.
