Peter Voss, Thief of Millions (Peter Voss, der Millionendieb) is a 1932 German comedy crime film directed by Ewald André Dupont and starring Willi Forst, Alice Treff and Paul Hörbiger. It was based on the 1913 novel of the same title by Ewald Gerhard Seeliger which has been adapted into a number of films including previously in 1921 and later in 1946. In 1812, during the French period, large parts of Germany are occupied by the troops of Napoleon. The story is about Conrad Veidt as military attache in Turkey where he learns to know an English consul (Heinrich George) and his attractive wife who is treated badly. They begin an affair and soon the husband proves to be an obstacle that has to be disposed of.

Fisherman Enrico lives happily with Teresa when a band of soldiers appear and accuse her of prostitution. As Enrico's brother is tricked into the Army, Enrico takes his place. Teresa's love for him conquers all.

A young engineer falls in love with the Russian countess Tatiana. Their relationship describes the turbulent times of Russia, when it entered the war and later the Revolution. In addition, the monk Rasputin has an important place in the story.
