The first sound film from Denmark! Charles Wilken reads a poem by Holger Drachmann. Ayoe Willumsen sings "Gylden Sol" and Albert Luther sings the song about Stella. Jacob Texière reads H.C. Andersen's "Thepotten". Robert Storm-Petersen & Christian Arhoff does the drunken dialogue of "Storm og Stille". And Frederik Jensen sings "Gøgleri" and "Du skal rose din Kone".
The princess of Illyria, who has said no to all the fine pilgrims who have released her, begin to care for a tiger who drives around the castle and, as a matter of fact, is no other than the prince of Denmark with his friend , Kasper Røghat. The prince lures with his magic toy, rubbish and copper platter, the price is kiss and one night in the princess's chamber.
