K.R. Vijaya

Prabhakaran (Madhu), a hardworking fisherman, gets lost at sea, after which his wife Lakshmi (K.R. Vijaya) is forced to leave town with their three young children - Babu, Appu & Kunjumon. During the train journey, Lakshmi loses Babu & Appu too, who in turn again separates from each other. Babu grows up as Rajan (Jayan), a jewel thief, Appu grows up as Kumar (M.G. Soman), a rich businessman's protégé, & Kunjumon grows up as Ravi (Sukumaran), with his mother. Fate unites them again in life.

Anjana (Khushboo), the forsook daughter of famous politico Vishwanatha Menon (Madhu), comes to him demanding that he recognize her & her mother Prabhadevi (K.R. Vijaya). Hearing about this, Vishwanatha Menon's adopted son Devan (Ganesh Kumar) recruits don Chandrasenan (Narendra Prasad) to kill Anjana. Not knowing this, Chandrasenan's younger brother Vishnu (Suresh Gopi), another toughie, had already promised to protect Anjana. Both brothers, adamant to keep their word, turns against each other.

Arjun (Siddharth), grandson of wealthy businessman Krishna Rao (Nageshwara Rao) & wife (Waheeda Rehman), settled in Germany, is busy enjoying life & hates the idea of marriage. His grandma wanted to get him married, but she dies before this could happen. Krishna Rao retuns to India & Arjun follows, where Krishna Rao insists on his marriage. Arjun, with the help of his friend Puppy, starts to seek out his old classmates - Shalini, Sandhya & Shravani - saying he would only marry one of them.

Senthilnathan (Prabhu) and his wife, Ganga (Jyothika), move into a house once owned by evil King Vettaiyan, who had enslaved the beautiful Chandramukhi and then murdered her in a jealous rage. When bizarre events unfold, Ganga suddenly believes that she is Chandramukhi. Saravanan (Rajnikanth), a psychiatrist, is brought in to help Ganga's rapidly deteriorating mental state, but it takes more than medicine to free Ganga of Chandramukhi's spirit. (Netflix)

Mukundan Menon (Gopi), the newly-appointed government veterinary surgeon of the village, lives with his wife Savithri (K.R. Vijaya) & mother (Rajam K. Nair). Mukundan befriends Kuttan Thampuran (Nedumudi), a bachelor womanizer who seemed to constantly get his way with women. Envious at Kuttan's exploits & goaded by Kuttan, Mukundan decides to try his hand at adultery, but chickens out at the last moment. Savithri however, gets wind of it & this causes friction between Savithri & Mukundan.

Madhavan (Kalabhavan Mani), a do-gooder of the affluent Nandiledathu family, enjoyed the respect & love of the villagers, but his charitable mentality doesn't bode well with his siblings who accuse him of wasting the family wealth. Forced to leave home, a hurt Madhavan travels to Palani where he meets an old acquaintance Vishwanatha Menon (Murali). Vishwanatha Menon shortly dies, but leaves behind his family with a ton of debt which Madhavan takes it upon himself to settle.

Venu (Mohanlal), a poor young man struggling to support his family, is asked by rich businessman K.M.K. Menon (Thilakan) to marry his terminally ill daughter Sarojam (Urvashi), in return for financial security. Venu reluctantly agrees & has a good life with Sarojam till she passes away due to her illness after a few years. Their daughter Ammukutty grows up & is diagnosed with the same illness, causing for Venu to look for a similar groom for her to keep her happy till the end of her days.

18-year old Jessy aka Sreekutty (Rohini) runs away from home after constant fighting between her divorced parents Sreekantan Nair (Jose Prakash) & Dr. Susan Jacob (K.R. Vijaya) over her future. She ends up at Eve's Beauty Parlor run by Elizabeth (Sukumari), which was on the brink of ruin due to lack of good talent. An expert beautician, she saves the salon, & also gets close to Elizabeth's son & videographer Emil (Rahman). However, word of her presence leaks out & her dad comes looking for her.
