After witnessing the brutal murder of his family by corrupt officials, a young boy escapes to the Shaolin temple and is there trained in kung fu. Years later that boy (Carter Wong) leaves Shaolin to have his revenge.

When his father is killed for his crimes, Shiao Chieh is raised in the Shaolin Temple where he attempts to leave the past behind. However, after his training is complete, he is forced to confront his past.
