Dijo John (Mohanlal) is a nature photographer who manages to get his photographs published in prestigious magazines like National Geographic. He is happily married to a Brahmin girl Satya (Nityasree) and has a young son. One day on an assignment in Wynad he saves an adivasi boy Thammi from police bullets. The entire adivasi village is ravaged by cops killing many people. Meanwhile Thammi, who was put in a juvenile home by Dijo, goes missing and Dijo goes into the forest to track him down.

Mary John Kurishingal (Nafisa Ali), better known as Mary 'Teacher', a social activist and a beacon of hope to the orphans of Kochi, is murdered. Her four foster sons take it upon themselves to unearth the mystery behind their mother's murder, and with the eldest Bilal (Mammootty) leading them, work their way up the dirty side of the city, which churns with petty crime gangs, drugs and prostitution. How they accomplish their revenge forms the rest of the story.

'Mayavi' is Mahi (Mammootty) who has a strange job; he owe up crimes committed by others and go to jail for them, for which he gets a lot of money. He can't stand injustice, but being a criminal himself, he cannot also rub other criminals the wrong way. So he retort to a unique way of roughing up the thugs-- he attack them in the dark or from behind; he finishes his work so fast that nobody would realize who did it, thus earning him the nickname 'Mayavi'. Rock N' Roll tells the story of Chandramouli (Mohanlal), a drummer of international repute. He comes to Chennai to do the drums for a song for an old friend Guna (Siddique) where he meets Daya Srinivasan (Lakshmi Rai). A life-long cynic and non-believer in love, Chandramouli falls in love with Daya. When Daya returns to Mumbai after the song, Chandramouli thinks of a plan to bring her back to Chennai.

Bellary Raja (Mammootty), when disowned by his mother, so she could marry Rajarathnam Pillai (Saikumar), leaves town, but keeps in touch with Rajarathnam. Rajarathnam's real son, Rajaselvam (Manoj K. Jayan) & daughter Rani (Sindhu Menon) are greedy & always fighting amongst each other. Meanwhile, Rajarathnam gets framed, jailed & murdered. In his will, he makes Raja the caretaker of all his holdings for the next 25 years. Raja sets about to carry out Rajarathnam's will & to reunite his family.

Three retirees - Weather forecaster Omanakuttan Pillai (Jagathi Sreekumar), Animal protection department worker Cherian Thomas (Janardanan), and Postal worker Mahendran Thampi (Narendra Prasad) - decides to spice up their retired life by starting a drama troupe, with the help of Director Attakulangara Ambujakshan (Oduvil Unnikrishnan) and Manager Kattanam Kuttikrishnan (Indrans), much to the chagrin and skepticism of their families, and with hilarious and disastrous results.

In the sequel to 'Devasuram', Mangalassery Neelakantan's (Mohanlal) son Karthikeyan (Mohanlal), who is now a rich businessman, continues the family rivalry with the Mundakkal family. Mundakkal Shekaran acquires a local bank which holds the mortgage on the Mangalassery ancestral home & forecloses on it, pushing out Neelakantan & Warrier (Innocent) onto the streets. Karthikeyan vows to get it back & kidnaps Shekaran's daughter Janaki (Vasundhara Das) & holds her as ransom, in return for the house.

Albet Samson (Mohanlal), a middle-aged architect who clawed his way to prominence, however, doesn't have a meaningful private life with this wife Alice (Swetha Menon). Into this, comes Hilda Varghese (Nithya), a vivacious young woman to whom Samson had promised "a kingdom" when she was 12 years old. As Samson struggles with the destructive consequences of his monomaniacal pursuit & his growing fear of the new generation, the mysterious Hilda helps him gain a glimpse of his former robust self.

Three unemployed young men - Mukundan (Manoj K. Jayan), Britto (Nandu) & Dasappan (Premkumar) - start a missing person bureau, along with their house owner Pankunni Nair (Janardanan). When a rich heiress, Chandni (Annie), is announced missing, they find her through two private detectives - Reddy (Raghu) & Freddy (Sathar), & turn her over to those who said were her family, but later they realize that they've been duped. They decide to find Annie for real & the reason why she ran away from home.

The story begins with Anandan, who makes a maiden trip to his native village, Sivapuram. His purpose? To make good his promise to his recently deceased mother that he would dissolve her ashes in a river near Manthrikapura, a mystical garden, and light a lamp in Sivakavu, a strange and dark place in Sivapuram. However, as soon as he lands in Sivapuram, Anandan finds out that what he heard and what he sees are two different things.

Peethambaran (Sreenivasan) is a do-gooder who is always running around to solve the problems of fellow villagers, but inadvertently neglecting the matters of his own mother & younger sisters. Soon, a few incidents - failing in the village Panchayat election & his friend Sugunan (Vijayaraghavan) cheating him, makes him realize that people whom he helped are not very grateful in return.

Arun (Indrajith) & his 2 relations Mahindran (Manoj K. Jayan) & Ganeshan (Shammi), injects Ashwathy (Bhavana), key witness to a murder & lawyer Ramesh Nambiar's (Mammootty) sister, with morphia & rapes her. Karthik (Dileep), Ashwathy's lover & Devan's (Mohanlal) brother, tries to catch them but gets killed. Antony Punnekadan IPS (Suresh Gopi), in charge of the case, arrests Arun but is saved by Ramesh, unaware of what Arun did to his sister. An enraged Devan tries to avenge his brother's death.

Syed Ahmed (Mohanlal), son of Lebba Sahib (Nedumudi) & mute Nabisa (Sukumari) is a revolutionary whose forward thinking brings the ire of religious Islamic leaders. They frame Syed in a bombing conspiracy which kills hundreds, after which Syed is sentenced to death. Nabisa loses her sanity & goes on an aimless search for her son. This brings her to a temple where she seeks refuge & food, but when the temple officials find out about her being a Muslim, they kick her out.

Meera (Meera Jasmine) falls in love & marries crippled Harikrishnan aka Hari (Vineeth), who used to be a dancer at Mohini Natya Mandir run by Mohini (Chithra Iyer). Hari, who harbored dreams of an independent dance project without influence from Mohini, gathers Mohini's artists, including lead dancer Vivek (Manoj K. Jayan) & sets to work. Meera, meanwhile, develops a fear of men because of her sexless marriage & Hari starts suspecting Meera of unfaithfulness, resulting in Meera leaving Hari.

Two friends - Sethumadhavan aka Sethu (Jayaram) & Roy (Mukesh) - after trying out various odd jobs, decide to steal, which lands them in jail. After their release, they part ways & Sethu starts working in a tea estate in Sooryagiri, posing as Albert Alex, with Albert's certificates given to him by their friend Chakkunni (Jagathi). When a criminal dies in an accident with Albert's work address in his pocket, cop Isaac Thomas's attention falls on Sethu. Sethu & Roy tries to find the real Albert.

"Kattala" Gopalan, a small-time thief, moves from his village of 'Oonjalaadi', to the city of Cochin, to escape from the cops. There he teams up with another thief Lakshmanan (Salim Kumar). In the hope of striking it big, they fall prey to a trap set by banker Babu John (Manoj K. Jayan) & get framed for a bank robbery. Lakshmanan is killed by Babu, but Gopalan escapes. He teams up with thief 'Lavangan' Vasu (Jagathi) & Babu's estranged step-sister Diana (Radha Varma), to get back at Babu John.

International don Sagar alias Jacky (Mohanlal), comes to the rescue of his friend & Kerala Chief Minister's (Nedumudi Venu) daughter Indu (Shobana), after Goa-based gangsters Rosario brothers kidnap her squanderer husband Manu (Manoj K. Jayan), who was deep in debt to the Rosario brothers. Jacky forcibly frees Manu, sparking off a gang war with the coterie of Rosario (Sampath Raj) & Dubai-based Naina (Suman).

Madhavan (Mammootty), a cinema operator, lives with his wife Lakshmi (Padmapriya) & daughter Ambili (Sanusha) in Kuttanad, Kerala. He stumbles upon Pavan (Yash), a kid who was the victim of the Gujarat earthquake. Although Madhavan & his family couldn't understand Yash because of language differences & vice versa, Pavan soon becomes a member of the family. But after news about Pavan being there, flashes on TV, various societal & political elements started coming in between Madhavan & Pavan.

Ex-gangster Zakir Ali Hussain (Mohanlal), settled in Cochin, takes up arms again after an attempt on the life of his father figure Haji Mustafa (Anupam Kher), by Mumbai-based don Raman Naik (Mahesh Anand). Zakir kills Raman, creating a void in the underworld which businessman & kingmaker Balaraman (Shammi Thilakan) asks Zakir to fill. Zakir's refusal pits him against the coterie of Balaraman, his partner Devadevan Nambiar (Vijayaraghavan) & Kerala Home Minister Lahel Vakkachan (N.F. Varghese).

Radha (Manju Warrier) lived in Padmini's (Bindu Panikkar) house more as a family member than a maid. Ignoring Divakaran (Manoj K. Jayan), her cousin who cared for her & wished to marry her, she falls in love with Sasikumar (Dileep), a carpenter cum singer who went by the name of "Junior Yesudas". When Padmini's husband Chandran Nair (N.F. Varghese) made passes towards Radha, Padmini sends Radha back with Divakaran. However, Radha now insists on marrying Sasikumar, putting Divakaran in a dilemma.

Pulikkattil Charlie (Mohanlal), quarry owner & local bigwig, has spent his whole life making redresses for the evils his cruel & abusive father Pulikkattil Mathan (Ramaraj) had done, including marrying Maya (Meena), whom Mathan orphaned & raising Mathan's illicit child Katrina (Nayantara). Now Charlie must face his biggest threat yet - his father's killer Karnan (Ranjith), whom also Mathan had orphaned, is getting out of jail & has vowed to kill the last male of the Pulikkattil family, Charlie.

Moz D. Samuel (Dileep) & little girl Tessy (Nivedita), who stayed afloat doing petty theft, meet rich girl Nandana Vasudev (Aswathy Ashok), younger sister of millionaire businessman Sumesh Vasudev (Rahman), during one of their capers. Nandana was in town to get Sumesh back to Bangalore, while Sumesh was hellbent on killing his ex-partner & current rival Panackal Das (Manoj K. Jayan), who had gypped him. Nandana develops a fondness towards Moz & Tessy & seeks their help in getting Sumesh back.

The eccentric Dr. Appan Menon IPS (Suresh Gopi), who talks to his dead wife as if she was alive, gets deputed from his post of Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation MD to investigate the death of ex-minister Krishnan Nambiar (Biju Pappan). Susan Mary Thomas (Padmapriya), a social worker who was Nambiar's vocal critic, takes a fancy to Appan's eccentric ways & delves into his past in search of material for her new novel & encounters Appan's tragic past & a shocking revelation.

Josekutty (Murali) who ran a vegetable wholesale business in Palani, brings over his wife Teresa (Urvashi) & kids for the Christmas vacation. There, Teresa starts suspecting an affair between Josekutty & the bubbly girl next door, Kaveri (Sunitha), fueled by Kaveri's step-mother Padmini's (Ragini) gossip, with disastrous results.

SP Sreekanth (Mukesh) admits his niece Parvathi (Saranya Mohan) into the Mount Academy Public School, where he had an ongoing investigation on the deaths of its 3 girl students the previous year - Gowri (Shilpa Bala), Elena (Krishna Vijay) & Kalyani (Drishya). Parvathi ends up in the room previously occupied by Gowri & Gowri possesses Parvathi & tries to use her to bring the culprits behind her death to justice. Meanwhile, Sreekanth's probes reveal a sex racket connected with the school.

Dr. Ramdas (Jayaram) & wife Shyama (Bhavana), along with their daughters Karthika (Mareena) & Ramya (Rehana), move to an isolated house called 'Hill View', in the village of Madhapur, 50 kms from Hyderabad, after Karthika was diagnosed with depression, living in their city apartment, & needed more space. However, after they move into the house, which was rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a ripper who used to kill children, strange things starts happening, which ruins their peace & quiet.

Prabhakaran (Mukesh), a struggling police constable, arrests ex-thief Vasu (Manoj K. Jayan), mistaking him for someone else. Angry at being framed, Vasu threatens to kill Prabhakaran & escapes from jail. Meanwhile, Prabhakaran gives shelter to Indu, a girl who had escaped from a rape attempt by local bigwig Babychan (Ravi Kumar). When authorities find out that Indu was actually Vasu's sister, although Prabhakaran didn't know that himself, he gets accused of colluding with Vasu & gets suspended.

When Miss Kerala Princy John (Rekha) comes to her grandfather's (Karamana Janardanan Nair) house for a visit, the young men in the neighborhood goes crazy trying to get her attention, including neighbor brothers Nixon (Siddique), Jackson (Jagadish) & Johnson (Premkumar). However, Princy starts loving a stranger whom she only knew via the love letters she used to get & when her parents fix her marriage to US-based Peter (Suresh Gopi), Princy tries desperately to find her secret lover.

Singer/storyteller Jayadevan (Suresh Gopi) comes to his birth village of Meledathu, where the families of Thekkumpurathu & Vadakkumpurathu were always at loggerheads with each other, to sing at the temple festival for Vadakkumpurathu. Thekkumpurathu invites over folk dancer Kanaka Prabha (Urvashi) to compete with Jayadevan, & after some initial spats, Kanaka Prabha & Jayadevan warms up to each other & discovers that each of them have a tragic past linked to the village & the temple.

Eight friends & petty thieves, known as "Seven & a half bunch" because of crippled Ara (Dileep), who was just considered the "half" amongst them, gets assigned a task by local bigwig Vakkachan (Rajan P. Dev) - to trap his half-brother & business rival Andrews Nicholas's (Narendra Prasad) daughter Maria (Lekha) in a fake love relationship, to get back at Andrews. The task gets assigned to Balu (Madhupal) from the group, but things get complicated when Balu & Maria really fall in love.

Police Commissioner Daya Shankar (Suresh Gopi) joins dreaded mobster GV's (Siddique) gang as his man Friday & takes the name of "Beda Dosthe" (Big Friend), after his long struggle to bring GV to justice resulted in Daya's family getting decimated. But after GV double-crosses him & the rest of the gang members, they eliminate GV & Daya assumes leadership. Daya veers the gang away from for-profit crime & into charity work, but the new Commissioner Zakir Ali (Manoj K. Jayan) gets hot on his tail.

The male-hating residents of the Eshwari Madam house - Chinthamani Ammal (K.P.A.C. Lalitha), Ponnamma (Kalpana), Nancy Joseph (Vinaya Prasad), Vasundhara (Rudra) & Bhagyarekha (Urvashi) - get into a fix when a mysterious intruder (Jagathi Sreekumar) they strike down during the night, loses his memory & starts behaving like a 4 year old, calling himself "Ikru". They struggle to keep Ikru away from outsiders while trying to figure out his identity & the real reason he was there.

Rich gangster Vijendra Mallayya (Mammootty) returns to the village of Chembattunadu, popularly known as "Chattambinadu" (land of goons), from where he had once run away as a teenager, falsely accused of a crime. This time he had bought the house belonging to Mallanchira family, much to the chagrin of their warring enemies, the Kaattappalli family, headed by Kaattapalli Nagendran (Siddique). Nagendran tries to drive Mallayya away, whilst Mallaya tries to break Nagendra's hegemony in the village.

Erudite mystic Pattazhi Madhavan (Mammootty) descends on the haunted mansion of Nelloor Mana in the Chembara village to unlock the secrets behind the death of his younger brother Kunjunni (Mammootty), who had died in the mansion pool. In exorcising the mansion, Madhavan has to contend with the powerful & vengeful spirit of Savitri (Dhanya Mary Varghese), who infested the mansion.

An anthology film based on four stories about four women. "The Prostitute" gives up her profession for marriage, but is unable to prove her new status to the police. "The Virgin" marries a man from another village, but he takes everything from her except the one thing that was rightfully his. "The Housewife" has difficulty conceiving & her ex-flame offers himself as a surrogate stud. "The Spinster" is forced to go through life unmarried as her siblings get married & start their own families.

Kasinathan (Mohanlal), running a successful Ayurvedic resort with friends in politics & the police, returns to his native village of Midhilapuri after his altruist elder brother Swaminathan (Nedumudi Venu) is killed in an 'accident' fabricated by Kasinathan's old foe, ex-minister Shankar Das (Saikumar) & businessman Dasappa Gounder (Manoj K. Jayan), when Swaminathan opposed their plans to modernize Midhilapuri.

In the power struggle between the left-wing communist party led by Sivankutty (Manoj K. Jayan) & the coalition of right-wing parties led by P. Divakaran (Rizabawa), M.P. Rajappan (Narendra Prasad) & Marakkar Haji (Narayanan Nair), in the northern Kerala state of Kannur, Sivankutty loses his father & later, his brother Unnikrishnan (Sudheesh) in plots engineered by Divakaran & his coterie. In revenge, Sivankutty seeks their contract killer, Panniyannoor Dasan (Raghu).

In the pre-independence Brahmin community in rural Kerala, Unni Maya (Mohini), a 17 year old is married off to a 64 year old man, who dies soon after, leaving her to lead a life of confinement & ostracism. She gets a ray of hope in the form of Madhavan (Vineeth), a Kathakali artiste, who woos her, but later refuses to accept her out of fear for being banished from the community himself, after she becomes pregnant from their relationship. A trial involving the community elders gets underway.

The patriarch of the Arakkal family, Madhavanunni (Mammootty), dotes over his 4 younger brothers & they in turn are ready to kill or die for Madhavanunni. Patteri Sivaraman Nair (Saikumar), their cousin & Madhavanunni's arch rival, bitter over his constant failures at the hands of Madhavanunni, teams up with Mambram Bava (N.F. Varghese), a communal leader & kingpin, to hurt Madhavanunni by targeting his brothers.

The story of the life & death of Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja (Mammootty), the valiant prince of the royal dynasty of Pazhassi Kottayam, who rebelled against the occupying forces of the British East India Company who imposed heavy taxes on the people.

Murugan (Manoj K. Jayan), gangster & leader of the Kozhikode Palayam market, locks horns with his ex-mentor Ranganathan Swamy (Narendra Prasad) & businessmen Thattel Mani (C.I. Paul), Thattel Bobby (Saikumar) & Muhammad Hussain Haji (Rizabawa) after Murugan sides with bust businessman Moosa (Rajan P. Dev) in a land deal where Moosa was cheated out of his land by Haji. Swamy & company kill Moosa & play the hotheaded new city police commissioner Jayamohan (Biju Menon) against Murugan.

A famous character of Kerala folklore, Raman (Thilakan), respectfully called 'Perumthachan' (the master carpenter) was a master carpenter, sculptor & architect. Raman begets a son, Kannan (Prashanth), who later becomes more famous than him, decreasing Raman's importance & causing subtle feelings of animus & one-upmanship between them. When Kannan falls in love with Kunjikkavu (Monisha), daughter of Maambatta Unni (Nedumudi Venu), who was Raman's patron, Raman tries in vain to discourage Kannan.

Roughneck trucker Sreedharan (Murali) gets a raw deal from his selfish & womanizer assistant Ravi (Manoj K. Jayan), after Ravi woos & later dumps Sreedharan's mentor & father-figure Govindan's (Oduvil Unnikrishnan) daughter Radha (Suvarna Mathew). Later, Sreedharan tries to give a girl, Seetha (Parvathi), who gets orphaned because of him, a new life by marrying her, but Ravi had his own plans of getting Seetha for himself.

In a family where traditionally fraternal polyandry was practiced, Kunjipennu (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) tries to get her two sons, Gopalan (Murali) & Unnikrishnan (Manoj K. Jayan) to marry the same girl, but the idea is rejected by her sons. But when Gopalan falls in love & marries Thankamani (Urvashi), Kunjipennu's desire resurfaces again & she tries to hook up Unnikrishnan & Thankamani surreptitiously. Gopalan gets wind of the plan & the resultant fracas tears the family apart.

Journalist Ravishankar (Mammootty), diagnosed with terminal cancer, moves to his ancestral home to die in peace. There, seeing that he was sinking, Ravishankar reminisces about life & makes some decisions, which included for his wife Malini (Gautami) to marry their pal Rajendran (Manoj K. Jayan) after his death. However, in a twist of fate, Ravishankar is cured by a maverick doctor (Narendra Prasad) & returns back to life, but realizes with dismay that no one was ready to deal with him alive.

Spoilt brat Jagan (Kuldeep) gets thrown out of the house by his elder brother Vikramaditya Varma (Devan) for drag racing & causing damage. He heads to the bar to have a few drinks where it gets worse, with Hazari (Irshad), brother of dreaded don Ikhtar (Manoj K. Jayan), getting murdered in an accident & Jagan assumed to be the murderer. Ikhthar sets his men after Jagan, & Jagan goes on the run, with the clock vigorously ticking away.

Anantha Krishnan (Manoj K. Jayan), an impoverished orphan, comes to eminent singer Raja Raja Varma (Somayajulu J.V.) to learn music, & eventually becomes an accomplished singer himself. Varma's daughter Anju (Chippy) falls in love with Anantha Krishnan & he reciprocates, but Varma would have none of it & kicks Anantha Krishnan out. Years later, Anantha Krishnan, now a famous singer, sees Varma again, only to learn that Anju is now deranged, & Varma broken & repentant.

Priyadarshan (Jayasurya), a do-gooder simpleton, falls in love with his rich neighbor, Meera (Bhama), mistaking her to be a maid servant. Meanwhile, a temporary job which Priyadarshan got when his predecessor Vyshakan (Manoj K. Jayan) went on a long leave, is jeopardized when Vyshakan decides to join back. Vyshakan, a struggling director, demands that Priyadarshan find a movie financier for him, in return for giving up his job.

Rajalakshmi (Suhasini), an unwilling young lady & the daughter of a late popular politician, is drawn into politics after she is asked to run for office as an MLA by her family & the ruling party. She wins & soon after, a ton of responsibilities land on her shoulders. Seeing the plight of her constituents at the hands of the local crime boss Krishnamoorthy, who had the cops & the politicians on his payroll, Rajalakshmi starts a crusade to bring him to justice.

Pappu aka Padmanabhan (Jayaram) is just out of jail, after serving a life sentence for the crime of murdering a college mate during the Annual Day celebrations. Pappu gathers up his old college friends Rex Manuel (Kunchacko Boban), Philip Idikkula (Biju Menon) & Rashid Munna (Manoj K Jayan), with a plan in mind - to go back to college to relive their old days. Pappu, however has an ulterior motive - to find the real culprit of the crime for which he did time.

An Italian painter, Lorenzo Fabri (Vincenzo Bocciarelli), is invited as a guest by the Kerala government to recreate a famous painting of Raja Ravi Varma, to replace the original which was stolen from the royal palace. In Kerala, Fabri runs across his ex-flame Shilpa (Mamta Mohandas), with whom he was in love an year ago. They reunite, but Shilpa's cousin Sreekuttan (Manoj K. Jayan) doesn't take too kindly to this. In revenge, Sreekuttan feigns love towards Fabri's sister Anna Lisa.

In a remote mountainous village, Thamara (Shweta Menon), a pretty woman, is forced to marry the ugly, dumb Choonda (Manoj K. Jayan), but Thamara could never bring herself around to like him. Choonda dies in mysterious circumstances, after which Thamara takes a fancy to Choonda's handsome younger brother Saji (Bala). Saji however was in love with Muthu (Aparna Nair), causing for Thamara to plot to eliminate Muthu from the picture.

Movie aficionado Manikunju (Indrajith) comes to Chennai looking for a job in the film industry. At Gemini Labs, he discovers the old print of a film that his dad had directed 35 years back, which was never released. Manikunju watches it, which tells the story of Ravi (Dileep) & Sulekha (Kavya Madhavan), who fall in love against all odds. Later, Manikunju learns that the actors who had played the roles, Shajahan & Mary Varghese, were in love as well, & had eloped into obscurity after the shoot.

Dr. Dinanadhan (Jayaram) had the perfect life - a beautiful wife, Priya (Mamta Mohandas), 2 loving daughters & a successful career. Then he meets John Paily (Manoj K. Jayan), a terminally ill patient, whose wife turns out to be Sofia (Mythili), his ex-girlfriend. Paily dies after a surgery, but he leaves behind a letter requesting Dinanadhan to urge Sofia to start a new life. Dinanadhan & Sofia started talking again, which rekindles their romance, resulting in Sofia giving birth to a baby.

The film has 4 separate chapters - 'Kallante Makan' (The Thief), 'Niyamavum Neethiyum' (The Police), 'Oru Koottukaran' (Two Men and a Woman), 'Pankiyamma' (One Woman and Two Men) - each based on independent short stories written by Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai. The film is about 4 crimes of different nature that happen in different contexts and situations. The setting is the Princely State of Travancore, South India in the 1940s.

Vinod (Nivin Pauly), a Hindu boy, falls in love with Aisha (Isha Talwar), a girl from a conservative Muslim household & tries to win her love against all odds.

Nandagopal (Mohanlal), who runs a fast food joint, Nandu's Food Court, in Kochi, moonlights as a vigilante called 'Lokpal' (Peoples' Protector) to expose the corruption of politicians, cops & government workers. Usually going after illicit money accumulated through bribes, Nandagopal steals the money & distributes it to the poor & deserved.

Mathew (Nivin Pauly) borrows money from loan shark Vatti Raja (Simhaa) for his sister's wedding, & after losing his job, is unable to pay it back. On his 3rd month of paying off the loan by borrowing from elsewhere, he finally runs out of options & faces a deadline from Raja to pay off the loan before 5 PM that day. The rest of the movie comprises of events leading upto Mathew's deadline as he struggles to raise money for Raja & hold onto it.

Serial alcoholic Chandrabose (Mohanlal) saves a young man, Sharath (Krish Sathar), from suicide, who was debarred from college because of Shivasankara Menon (Ganesh Kumar), businessman & owner of an IT firm. Chandrabose commits to changing Sharath's life & helps Sharath & his friends start an IT company. However, success gets into Sharath's head & makes him ungrateful. Meanwhile, Anu (Mamta Mohandas), Menon's daughter & who was part of Sharath's team, takes a fancy to Chandrabose.

A multi-linear story where various peoples' lives intersect around the occult. Bakery worker Krishnan (Kunchacko Boban) rushes home to his pregnant wife (Bhama). A cop (Kalabhavan Mani) picks up a lady (Kavitha Nair) who later turns up dead. An old man (Janardhanan) is helpless to save his daughter (Anju Aravind) & granddaughter who were in an accident. Usurer Sethu (Manoj K Jayan) is shocked to find his imaginary pal come alive. A photographer (Joy Mathew) has a bizarre encounter in a mortuary.

Sachithanandan aka Sachi (Jayaram) has the perfect family, with a loving wife, Shyama (Meera Jasmine), & a daughter Kunji (Anikha Surendran). His life is turned upside down when his childhood pal Jose (Manoj K. Jayan) comes for a vacation from Dubai & coaxes Sachi into having a fling with Rose (Sarayu Mohan), a woman he had met in Dubai. Sachi backs out at the last moment & flees the hotel where he was staying with Rose, but Shyama finds out about it nonetheless, & she stops speaking to Sachi.

4 pals - Dominic (Wilson Joseph), Omanakuttan (Sekhar Menon), Gautham (Sanju) & Sunny (Sreenath Bhasi) - struggling to make ends meet & pay the rent to their landlord Thulasidharan Pillai (Sunil Sukhada), unwittingly manage to disrupt a deal involving stolen diamonds, which pits them against a dreaded don Baptist (Manoj K. Jayan) & a ruthless criminal Amir (Simhaa). They get away to Pondicherry to bunk with their friend Oommen (Hari Krishnaraj) to escape the heat, but their troubles follow them.

Unnithan (Captain Raju) & Varkey (Lalu Alex), who used to be like brothers, split over Varkey siding with Lakshmi (Mathu), Unnithan's sister, when she chose their servant Damu (Asokan) as her husband. Best friends turned rivals, Unnithan makes it his life's mission to destroy Varkey, & the rivalry also spills over to their sons' lives - Unnithan's son Bharathan (Saikumar) & Varkey's son Lalichan (Ganesh) & Lakshmi's son Babu (Manoj K. Jayan), whom Varkey brings up as his own son.

Phantom Paili (Mammotty), a Mumbai-based movie stuntman, comes to the village of Pallikkara to meet his younger brother Josekutty (Nishanth Sagar), who was out of town. Soon he becomes a part of the village & opposes local bigwig Perumal (Manivannan), whose quarry business was threatening the stability of the nearby dam. Perumal enlists corrupt cop Sebastian (Manoj K. Jayan) who was newly transferred to Pallikkara, to combat Paili. Then Josekutty turns up dead & Paili tries to find his murderer.

Venu (Sreenivasan), a struggling middle-class man, panics when his daughter Swathi (Parvathy) announces that she would commit suicide if she doesn't get into medical school. When Swathi doesn't pass the entrance exam, Venu decides to sell off a 5 cent plot of land he had in a posh residential area, to pay for a paid seat, but faces a big hurdle - through years of neglect, his plot has turned into the colony's landfill. Venu now has to use his ingenuity to clean up the plot to be able to sell it.

Allen Mathew (Vipin Atley), a young man trying to catch a break in TV despite his unflattering looks, comes up with a unique concept for a TV show, which is stolen by his friend Sajith (Kailash) who works for the Christian TV channel, Grace TV. Allen does get a chance to make further episodes, but is stymied at every step of the way by Program Head Sarath Chandran (Manoj K. Jayan) & Sajith. Finally, Allen decides to expose the corruption at Grace TV through a special New Year's eve episode.

Annamma (Roma) & Chandy (Aju Varghese) get engaged, but the day before the wedding, Chandy elopes to be with another girl, informing his mother that he will be in Bali, Indonesia. Annamma follows him to the island to know the reason why Chandy ditched her, but there her life changes forever as she makes new friends & breaks out of her shell.

Felix (Fahadh Faasil), an orphan raised by the local bigwig of the beach community of Mariyam Mukku, Mariyaan (Manoj K. Jayan), to be his right-hand man, goes soft after meeting Salomi (Sana Altaf), the new girl in the community. This anger Mariyaan, who tries to drive them apart. At this juncture, something Felix does in a drunken stupor is mistaken to be divine miracle by the town folks, which causes for the whole beach area to be flooded by devotees, causing for business to boom in the area.

A tailor (Kunchacko Boban) fall in love with Sumathi (Rima Kallingal), the daughter of a rich man (Joy Mathew), but the rich man wants to marry her off to a UK-based Malayali (Kunchacko Boban). They fight all odds to unite.

Married couple & coworkers Mohan (Jayaram) & Yamuna (Urvashi) separate while Yamuna was pregnant, because Yamuna wouldn't forgive a one-night stand Mohan had with her friend. Years later, they run into each other at a new workplace, & Mohan, realizing he still had feelings for her, tries to get her back, but Yamuna spurns his advances.

Surya (Rajnikanth) is an orphan raised in a slum. He finds a friend in the local Godfather (Mamooty). They rule the town and forms a parallel government. Things are well until new district collect(Aravind Swami), step -brother of Surya takes charge. Surya finds his mom (Sreevidya) and decides to surrender. (imdb)

Vinayan (Kunchacko Boban), the projector operator at a small local theater owned by Madhavan (Renji Panicker) in the village of Paalattukkara, is in love with Sreedevi (Shamili), daughter of a big landlord, Bhagavan (Suresh Krishna), from the neighboring Vadakkumbhagam village. The 2 villages have been bitter rivals ever since Bhagavan's elder daughter Sreekala (Mia George) eloped with someone from Paalattukkara. As Vinayan & Sreedevi try to unite, the theater becomes a flashpoint in the story.

An anthology, telling the story of four different people, each story revolving around four different elements: Earth, Fire, Wind and Water.
