Dijo John (Mohanlal) is a nature photographer who manages to get his photographs published in prestigious magazines like National Geographic. He is happily married to a Brahmin girl Satya (Nityasree) and has a young son. One day on an assignment in Wynad he saves an adivasi boy Thammi from police bullets. The entire adivasi village is ravaged by cops killing many people. Meanwhile Thammi, who was put in a juvenile home by Dijo, goes missing and Dijo goes into the forest to track him down.

Bellary Raja (Mammootty), when disowned by his mother, so she could marry Rajarathnam Pillai (Saikumar), leaves town, but keeps in touch with Rajarathnam. Rajarathnam's real son, Rajaselvam (Manoj K. In the sequel to 'Devasuram', Mangalassery Neelakantan's (Mohanlal) son Karthikeyan (Mohanlal), who is now a rich businessman, continues the family rivalry with the Mundakkal family. Mundakkal Shekaran acquires a local bank which holds the mortgage on the Mangalassery ancestral home & forecloses on it, pushing out Neelakantan & Warrier (Innocent) onto the streets. Karthikeyan vows to get it back & kidnaps Shekaran's daughter Janaki (Vasundhara Das) & holds her as ransom, in return for the house.

They decide to find Annie for real & the reason why she ran away from home.

The story begins with Anandan, who makes a maiden trip to his native village, Sivapuram. His purpose? To make good his promise to his recently deceased mother that he would dissolve her ashes in a river near Manthrikapura, a mystical garden, and light a lamp in Sivakavu, a strange and dark place in Sivapuram. However, as soon as he lands in Sivapuram, Anandan finds out that what he heard and what he sees are two different things.

Syed Ahmed (Mohanlal), son of Lebba Sahib (Nedumudi) & mute Nabisa (Sukumari) is a revolutionary whose forward thinking brings the ire of religious Islamic leaders. This brings her to a temple where she seeks refuge & food, but when the temple officials find out about her being a Muslim, they kick her out.

After their release, they part ways & Sethu starts working in a tea estate in Sooryagiri, posing as Albert Alex, with Albert's certificates given to him by their friend Chakkunni (Jagathi). When a criminal dies in an accident with Albert's work address in his pocket, cop Isaac Thomas's attention falls on Sethu. Sethu & Roy tries to find the real Albert.

"Kattala" Gopalan, a small-time thief, moves from his village of 'Oonjalaadi', to the city of Cochin, to escape from the cops. There he teams up with another thief Lakshmanan (Salim Kumar). Madhavan (Mammootty), a cinema operator, lives with his wife Lakshmi (Padmapriya) & daughter Ambili (Sanusha) in Kuttanad, Kerala. He stumbles upon Pavan (Yash), a kid who was the victim of the Gujarat earthquake. Although Madhavan & his family couldn't understand Yash because of language differences & vice versa, Pavan soon becomes a member of the family. But after news about Pavan being there, flashes on TV, various societal & political elements started coming in between Madhavan & Pavan.

Ex-gangster Zakir Ali Hussain (Mohanlal), settled in Cochin, takes up arms again after an attempt on the life of his father figure Haji Mustafa (Anupam Kher), by Mumbai-based don Raman Naik (Mahesh Anand). Zakir kills Raman, creating a void in the underworld which businessman & kingmaker Balaraman (Shammi Thilakan) asks Zakir to fill. Zakir's refusal pits him against the coterie of Balaraman, his partner Devadevan Nambiar (Vijayaraghavan) & Kerala Home Minister Lahel Vakkachan (N.F. Varghese).

Radha (Manju Warrier) lived in Padmini's (Bindu Panikkar) house more as a family member than a maid. Ignoring Divakaran (Manoj K. When Padmini's husband Chandran Nair (N.F. Varghese) made passes towards Radha, Padmini sends Radha back with Divakaran. However, Radha now insists on marrying Sasikumar, putting Divakaran in a dilemma.

Susan Mary Thomas (Padmapriya), a social worker who was Nambiar's vocal critic, takes a fancy to Appan's eccentric ways & delves into his past in search of material for her new novel & encounters Appan's tragic past & a shocking revelation.

Parvathi ends up in the room previously occupied by Gowri & Gowri possesses Parvathi & tries to use her to bring the culprits behind her death to justice. Meanwhile, Sreekanth's probes reveal a sex racket connected with the school.

Dr. Ramdas (Jayaram) & wife Shyama (Bhavana), along with their daughters Karthika (Mareena) & Ramya (Rehana), move to an isolated house called 'Hill View', in the village of Madhapur, 50 kms from Hyderabad, after Karthika was diagnosed with depression, living in their city apartment, & needed more space. However, after they move into the house, which was rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a ripper who used to kill children, strange things starts happening, which ruins their peace & quiet.

The task gets assigned to Balu (Madhupal) from the group, but things get complicated when Balu & Maria really fall in love.

Police Commissioner Daya Shankar (Suresh Gopi) joins dreaded mobster GV's (Siddique) gang as his man Friday & takes the name of "Beda Dosthe" (Big Friend), after his long struggle to bring GV to justice resulted in Daya's family getting decimated. But after GV double-crosses him & the rest of the gang members, they eliminate GV & Daya assumes leadership. Daya veers the gang away from for-profit crime & into charity work, but the new Commissioner Zakir Ali (Manoj K. Jayan) gets hot on his tail.

Rich gangster Vijendra Mallayya (Mammootty) returns to the village of Chembattunadu, popularly known as "Chattambinadu" (land of goons), from where he had once run away as a teenager, falsely accused of a crime. This time he had bought the house belonging to Mallanchira family, much to the chagrin of their warring enemies, the Kaattappalli family, headed by Kaattapalli Nagendran (Siddique). Nagendran tries to drive Mallayya away, whilst Mallaya tries to break Nagendra's hegemony in the village.

In the power struggle between the left-wing communist party led by Sivankutty (Manoj K. Jayan) & the coalition of right-wing parties led by P. Divakaran (Rizabawa), M.P. Rajappan (Narendra Prasad) & Marakkar Haji (Narayanan Nair), in the northern Kerala state of Kannur, Sivankutty loses his father & later, his brother Unnikrishnan (Sudheesh) in plots engineered by Divakaran & his coterie. In revenge, Sivankutty seeks their contract killer, Panniyannoor Dasan (Raghu).
Parinayam
In the pre-independence Brahmin community in rural Kerala, Unni Maya (Mohini), a 17 year old is married off to a 64 year old man, who dies soon after, leaving her to lead a life of confinement & ostracism. She gets a ray of hope in the form of Madhavan (Vineeth), a Kathakali artiste, who woos her, but later refuses to accept her out of fear for being banished from the community himself, after she becomes pregnant from their relationship. A trial involving the community elders gets underway.

Murugan (Manoj K. Jayan), gangster & leader of the Kozhikode Palayam market, locks horns with his ex-mentor Ranganathan Swamy (Narendra Prasad) & businessmen Thattel Mani (C.I. Paul), Thattel Bobby (Saikumar) & Muhammad Hussain Haji (Rizabawa) after Murugan sides with bust businessman Moosa (Rajan P. Dev) in a land deal where Moosa was cheated out of his land by Haji. Swamy & company kill Moosa & play the hotheaded new city police commissioner Jayamohan (Biju Menon) against Murugan.
Perumthachan
A famous character of Kerala folklore, Raman (Thilakan), respectfully called 'Perumthachan' (the master carpenter) was a master carpenter, sculptor & architect. Raman begets a son, Kannan (Prashanth), who later becomes more famous than him, decreasing Raman's importance & causing subtle feelings of animus & one-upmanship between them. When Kannan falls in love with Kunjikkavu (Monisha), daughter of Maambatta Unni (Nedumudi Venu), who was Raman's patron, Raman tries in vain to discourage Kannan.

Roughneck trucker Sreedharan (Murali) gets a raw deal from his selfish & womanizer assistant Ravi (Manoj K. Jayan), after Ravi woos & later dumps Sreedharan's mentor & father-figure Govindan's (Oduvil Unnikrishnan) daughter Radha (Suvarna Mathew). Later, Sreedharan tries to give a girl, Seetha (Parvathi), who gets orphaned because of him, a new life by marrying her, but Ravi had his own plans of getting Seetha for himself.

In a family where traditionally fraternal polyandry was practiced, Kunjipennu (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) tries to get her two sons, Gopalan (Murali) & Unnikrishnan (Manoj K. Jayan) to marry the same girl, but the idea is rejected by her sons. But when Gopalan falls in love & marries Thankamani (Urvashi), Kunjipennu's desire resurfaces again & she tries to hook up Unnikrishnan & Thankamani surreptitiously. Gopalan gets wind of the plan & the resultant fracas tears the family apart.
Sukrutham
Journalist Ravishankar (Mammootty), diagnosed with terminal cancer, moves to his ancestral home to die in peace. There, seeing that he was sinking, Ravishankar reminisces about life & makes some decisions, which included for his wife Malini (Gautami) to marry their pal Rajendran (Manoj K. Jayan) after his death. However, in a twist of fate, Ravishankar is cured by a maverick doctor (Narendra Prasad) & returns back to life, but realizes with dismay that no one was ready to deal with him alive.
Twenty Four Hours
Spoilt brat Jagan (Kuldeep) gets thrown out of the house by his elder brother Vikramaditya Varma (Devan) for drag racing & causing damage. He heads to the bar to have a few drinks where it gets worse, with Hazari (Irshad), brother of dreaded don Ikhtar (Manoj K. Jayan), getting murdered in an accident & Jagan assumed to be the murderer. Ikhthar sets his men after Jagan, & Jagan goes on the run, with the clock vigorously ticking away.
Soopanam
Anantha Krishnan (Manoj K. Jayan), an impoverished orphan, comes to eminent singer Raja Raja Varma (Somayajulu J.V.) to learn music, & eventually becomes an accomplished singer himself. Varma's daughter Anju (Chippy) falls in love with Anantha Krishnan & he reciprocates, but Varma would have none of it & kicks Anantha Krishnan out. Years later, Anantha Krishnan, now a famous singer, sees Varma again, only to learn that Anju is now deranged, & Varma broken & repentant.
Janapriyan
Priyadarshan (Jayasurya), a do-gooder simpleton, falls in love with his rich neighbor, Meera (Bhama), mistaking her to be a maid servant. Meanwhile, a temporary job which Priyadarshan got when his predecessor Vyshakan (Manoj K. Jayan) went on a long leave, is jeopardized when Vyshakan decides to join back. Vyshakan, a struggling director, demands that Priyadarshan find a movie financier for him, in return for giving up his job.

Rajalakshmi (Suhasini), an unwilling young lady & the daughter of a late popular politician, is drawn into politics after she is asked to run for office as an MLA by her family & the ruling party. She wins & soon after, a ton of responsibilities land on her shoulders. Seeing the plight of her constituents at the hands of the local crime boss Krishnamoorthy, who had the cops & the politicians on his payroll, Rajalakshmi starts a crusade to bring him to justice.

Pappu aka Padmanabhan (Jayaram) is just out of jail, after serving a life sentence for the crime of murdering a college mate during the Annual Day celebrations. Pappu gathers up his old college friends Rex Manuel (Kunchacko Boban), Philip Idikkula (Biju Menon) & Rashid Munna (Manoj K Jayan), with a plan in mind - to go back to college to relive their old days. Pappu, however has an ulterior motive - to find the real culprit of the crime for which he did time.

An Italian painter, Lorenzo Fabri (Vincenzo Bocciarelli), is invited as a guest by the Kerala government to recreate a famous painting of Raja Ravi Varma, to replace the original which was stolen from the royal palace. In Kerala, Fabri runs across his ex-flame Shilpa (Mamta Mohandas), with whom he was in love an year ago. They reunite, but Shilpa's cousin Sreekuttan (Manoj K. Jayan) doesn't take too kindly to this. In revenge, Sreekuttan feigns love towards Fabri's sister Anna Lisa.

In a remote mountainous village, Thamara (Shweta Menon), a pretty woman, is forced to marry the ugly, dumb Choonda (Manoj K. Jayan), but Thamara could never bring herself around to like him. Choonda dies in mysterious circumstances, after which Thamara takes a fancy to Choonda's handsome younger brother Saji (Bala). Saji however was in love with Muthu (Aparna Nair), causing for Thamara to plot to eliminate Muthu from the picture.

Movie aficionado Manikunju (Indrajith) comes to Chennai looking for a job in the film industry. Paily dies after a surgery, but he leaves behind a letter requesting Dinanadhan to urge Sofia to start a new life. On his 3rd month of paying off the loan by borrowing from elsewhere, he finally runs out of options & faces a deadline from Raja to pay off the loan before 5 PM that day. The rest of the movie comprises of events leading upto Mathew's deadline as he struggles to raise money for Raja & hold onto it.

Venu (Sreenivasan), a struggling middle-class man, panics when his daughter Swathi (Parvathy) announces that she would commit suicide if she doesn't get into medical school. When Swathi doesn't pass the entrance exam, Venu decides to sell off a 5 cent plot of land he had in a posh residential area, to pay for a paid seat, but faces a big hurdle - through years of neglect, his plot has turned into the colony's landfill. Venu now has to use his ingenuity to clean up the plot to be able to sell it.

Allen Mathew (Vipin Atley), a young man trying to catch a break in TV despite his unflattering looks, comes up with a unique concept for a TV show, which is stolen by his friend Sajith (Kailash) who works for the Christian TV channel, Grace TV. Allen does get a chance to make further episodes, but is stymied at every step of the way by Program Head Sarath Chandran (Manoj K. Jayan) & Sajith. Finally, Allen decides to expose the corruption at Grace TV through a special New Year's eve episode.
