His chief enemy is a man dedicated to Hitler, with a sadistic female sidekick thrown in for good measure. In ancient Japan, a good lord is killed and his throne is taken by the trecherous Yuki Daijo and his wizard friend Oroki-maru. The young prince Ikazuki-maru is rescued from the jaws of death by a magic bird sent by a wizard. Ten years later, Ikazuki-maru embarks on an adventure to avenge his parents and the wizard's death with his magic powers he learned from the wizard. A sequel in name only, an oddball but entertaining action yarn mixing tongue-in-cheek humor with high melodrama. This time Shihomi is Kiku Nakagawa, the daughter of a wealthy, upwardly mobile kimono shop family in Kyoto. Though her ambitious, upwardly mobile mother wants to train Kiku in delicate arts like flower arrangement and marry her off to a wealthy family, she's much more interested in karate. (dvdtalk.com)

AKA Renegade Ninjas; This is a film about a real person. Sanada Yukimura fought a war against Tokugawa Ieyeasu. In the beginning the film shows Yukimura fighting to defend the Osaka Castle. He used very unconventional methods, wich were not approved by the other defenders. When the Osaka campaign was lost, Sanada is shown dedicating all his efforts to assassinate the shogun Ieyeasu. Formerly a secret agent of the shogunate, Sanzo and Yumenogosuke are now on the run, with their lives in danger, and make their way to Kurume Castle in Kyushu. Sanzo extorts an official patrolman but is caught and thrown in jail. Meanwhile, Gosuke meets Tanokura Tanosuke and Otoyo, a street performer couple traveling with their son, Daikichi.
