The H&L Lumber Company headed by Henry Lorimer and his daughter "Perry", receives a huge national defense order, and prepares to cut the dangerous Antler Valley tract. Miss Henry is the maid-of-all-work at a hotel. She cleans everything, operates the elevator, cooks and serves the meal and spots series regular, Milburn Morante apparently strangling a young woman in her room.

Lillian Peacock is set to inherit her uncle's house, now that he's dead and all, but she must live there. Housekeepers Gale Henry and Dan Duffy will inherit it if she leaves, so they're trying to scare her off. And into this mess walks innocent burglar Heinie Conklin.

Gale Henry is hired as the cook at a girls' private college that is located next door to a boys' private college. The plot follows her misadventures and incompetence in the kitchen and her romance with the janitor next door. The climax of the movie follows her attempt to serve as a witness to the marriage of two students.

This is another comedy, in which trick photography plays a large part. It is a travesty on the temperance question, siding with the dry element. On the refusal of the Governor to sign a bill in favor of the liquor interest, the political boss tries to force the executive to his will. The Governor, after a series of thrilling experiences, thwarts the efforts of the politicians. A latter calls on Lady Baffles, who impersonates the Governor's wife and secures the executive's signature to the bill.

Banker Shultz has not had a vacation for over thirty years. His doctor advises a rest or a breakdown will soon result. But it is impossible for Shultz to leave the affairs of the bank a moment. At last he hits on a great scheme. That of getting his friend, Detective Duck, to impersonate him. (imdb)

U.S. Marshals Dave Willis (Johnny Mack Brown) and Sandy Barrett (Milburn Morante) , traveling incognito to investigate the robbery of a shipment of Mexican Government gold, rescue Kathy Martin (Janes Adams) from an outlaw ambush, after her father Joel Martin (Steve Clark), publisher of the Latigo newspaper, has been wounded. Later, Martin is killed, and Bull Jackson (Marshall Reed), who claims to have seen the crime, accuses Dave of the murder.

It was all because John was the image of Frank, the health inspector. John lost his purse and Frank found it. Then he went to the former's house and Matilda thought her hubby was crazy because he did not recognize her. Frank had forgotten his badge, and so could not prove his identity, and was taken to the insane asylum. But Bess discovered that Frank left his badge and went to the first house on his list to give it to him. At the corner she met John looking for the wallet.

Cook Gale Henry and butler Milton Sims are arguing in the kitchen about who would make the best detective, until the lady of the house comes in to see about the delay in dinner and fires them both. Freed from their domestic duties, they are at liberty to become detectives.

The emperor issues a counterblast against liquor and the "wets" try to kill him. Damon saves Pythias from the headsman's axe and the lives of both are spared.

Johnny Mack returns to Pony Mesa, where his friend Alibi gives him a letter from Mary, granddaughter of his former boss Brimstone, asking Johnny to forget his quarrel with the old man and return and save the ranch. On the way there, Johnny shoots Steve Dallas after the latter kills the stagecoach driver in a robbery attempt. The outlaw's 13-year-old brother Larry accuses Johnny of killing Steve without reason, not knowing his brother was a wanted outlaw for a bank holdup.
