Mohini

Unnikrishnan (Dileep), a jobless youth, who is heavily in debt, decides to commit suicide after taking an insurance policy which he figures would pay back his loans, after he dies. He jumps into the sea, but he reaches a distant place & gets caught in the fishing nets of Gangadharan (Cochin Haneefa). He thinks that Unni is deaf and mute and Gangadharan gives Unni and his own assistant Ramanan (Harisree Ashokan) as collateral to the 'Punjabi House', where he himself had taken a loan from.

Gopakumar (Mohanlal) buys a house from Dr. Muralikrishnan (Mukesh) to establish an office for his garment exporting business, only to find that Muralikrishnan's estranged wife Teresa (Sukanya) & kid are still living there, refuse to move out. After learning that Teresa's closest friends Prameela (Mohini) & Rahna (Muthumani) are also separated from their husbands, Gopakumar, with the help of his assistant Kamala (Meera Jasmine) & Immanuel (Innocent), decides to patch up their relationships.

Captain Eshwar (Mammootty) & Wing Commander Zakir (Mukesh) are working on a top-secret airforce project codenamed 'Red Alert', at the Airforce Academy. A Kashmir based Islamic terrorist group, to get their hands on the project documents, blackmails & deploys a woman called Lakshmi (Mohini) to get close to Eshwar, after kidnapping her child. After Lakshmi refuses to follow through with the plan, the terrorists detain her. Eshwar, Zakir & a group of commandos launch a commando op to free her.

Middle-aged single millionaire John Fernandes (Thilakan) comes for vacation to Ooty, from USA. There, he befriends cabby Unni (Dileep) & lensman Mustafa (Kalabhavan Mani), who promise to find John a girl to marry. John sees Maya (Mohini), a village girl, whose brother-in-law Kaliappan (Meghanadhan), was after her to make her his second wife. John offers a cash reward to Unni & Mustafa & they save Maya from Kaliappan for John, but things get complicated when Unni & Maya end up falling in love.

Pappan's (Innocent) eldest son Appukutta Menon aka Appu (Mammootty) had been the backbone of the successful business empire Leela group, but gets sidelined when his younger brother, London-educated Hari (Indrajith) who had an eye for profits rather than sentiments, applies multiple reforms in the firm. When business rival Sivan (Saikumar) tries to break apart Leela group using honey trap Veni Warrier (Sindhu Menon), leading to Hari killing Veni's accomplice in a scuffle, Appu takes the blame.

Sachidanandan (Mohanlal), a rover, comes to Kodaikanal in search of a job & ends up at the house of Prabhakara Menon (N.N. Pillai), an aging businessman. There, he becomes everyone's favorite, except Menon's nephew Sivan (Suresh Gopi), who had an eye on Menon's immense wealth & wanted to marry Sophie (Mohini), Menon's grandchild Chinnu's nanny. Sivan considers Sachidanandan a threat & plans to eliminate him with the help of friend Jackson (Babu Antony). However, Jackson had ulterior motives.

Vishnu Narayanan (Jayaram) of the Ponnumadam family gets stuck with a baby elephant left to him by his recently demised long-lost uncle. However, when the elephant wins a race, Vishnu gets a chance to get Kalyani (Mohini), heiress of the Thirumangalam family, as his bride. When Vishnu learns that the person to whom some temple jewels which he had stolen & pawned with, was Kalyani's debilitated father, he decides to stay on at Thirumangalam to revive Kalyani's father, to get the jewels back.

N. D. Raman Nair aka NDR (Innocent), a rich businessman who used to rule over his 2 sons - Ramanan (Asokan) & Rameshan (Dilip) - with an iron fist, gets a raw deal when his daughter-in-laws fight with each other & his sons turn henpecked. To regain control over his household, NDR brings in an actress, Parvathi (Kalpana), to act as his wife & discipline his sons & daughter-in-laws. NDR's plans backfire, however, when Parvathi gets impregnated by someone in the household & he is held responsible.

Chandy (Mammootty), a good-at-heart roughneck, comes to the village of Maravathoor to help out his struggling farmer brother Michael (Biju Menon) with his crops. There, with his bluster & courage, he tames local bullies & finds a place in landlord Annie's (Divya Unni) heart. However, Palani Swamy Gounder (Nedumudi Venu), a disgruntled local bigwig who had an eye on Michael's land, spreads rumors about Chandy & Michael's wife Mary (Mohini), which sows seeds of doubt in Michael's & Annie's minds.

Honest ex-cop Shekhar Joseph (Lalu Alex) teams up with Sultan (Babu Antony), the leader of the head load workers of the Calicut market, to battle the evil coterie of millionaire businessman & underworld don Alexander (Devan), trade unionist Ummer Haji (V.K. Sriraman) & Commissioner of Police Ravishankar (Sathar), after they murder Shekar's wife & daughter. Alexander had plans to bulldoze the market as he claimed the land for himself, which Sultan & PWD Minister Kesavan Nair (Thilakan) opposed.

Gopi (Dileep) falls in love with his neighbor Anjali (Manju Warrier), & Anjali reciprocates, but later decides to sacrifice her love because of her still unmarried elder sisters, mute Ashwathy (Mohini) & Aarti (Chippy). Learning of her reasoning, Gopi takes it upon himself to get Ashwathy & Aarti married off, so that he & Anjali could marry. However, the sisters' abusive half-brother Raghu (Meghanadhan) poses a threat to Gopi's plans.

In the pre-independence Brahmin community in rural Kerala, Unni Maya (Mohini), a 17 year old is married off to a 64 year old man, who dies soon after, leaving her to lead a life of confinement & ostracism. She gets a ray of hope in the form of Madhavan (Vineeth), a Kathakali artiste, who woos her, but later refuses to accept her out of fear for being banished from the community himself, after she becomes pregnant from their relationship. A trial involving the community elders gets underway.

Kuttiraman (Premkumar) returns from the Middle East with dreams of marrying the girl of his dreams, Sumathi (Mohini), & with promises of visas for his friends. Sumathi's uncle Sreedharan (Rajan P. Dev) is opposed to the alliance, as he plans to get Sumathi married to his own junkie son Sethukrishnan (Vijayakumar). However, just as Kuttiraman manages to woo Sumathi, he gets visitors from Mumbai who are after some smuggled gold Kuttiraman was carrying.

Rich heiress Nandini Menon (Mohini) returns from Canada to much fanfare from her extended family, but unbeknown to her, they had been plotting to usurp her wealth, with her cousin Rajendran (Kumarakom Raghunath) leading the charge. After an attempt on her life, Nandini loses her memory & is picked up & hidden by Prasad (Dileep), who had a spot spot for her, & his friend Freddy (Kalabhavan Mani). Soon Rajendran finds out & a tug of war ensues between Prasad & Rajendran to get custody of Nandini.

A group of children use a time machine to investigate a robbery. The protagonist couple, in their attempt to rescue the kids, get stuck in the machine and travel all the way back to the period of the ruler Krishnadevaraya (1500 A.D.) as well as into the future (2500 A.D.), facing sticky situations along the way. This movie begins with a scientist Prof. Ramdas (Tinnu Anand) doing vigorous experiments to invent a 'Time Machine' at his home laboratory. After tremendous effort eventually he becomes successful. His daughter Hema (Mohini) and her fiancée Krishna Kumar (Nandamuri Balakrishna) accidentally get into the time machine and visit the past (time of Krishnadeva Raya's Empire).
