Sunil Sukhada

Successful executive & serial playboy Arjun's (Fahad Fazil) life gets messed up when a cell phone containing a sex clip of him & his lover Sonia (Ramya Nambeeshan) gets into the hands of struggling supermarket employee Ansari (Vineeth Sreenivasan). Seeing Arjun's desperation to get hold of the phone, the naturally timid Ansari feels powerful & in control by jerking Arjun around. Then the clip leaks from Ansari's hands & onto the Internet, giving life to Arjun's worst fears.

Manikoth Ajayachandran Nair (Jayaram), having made his fortune in the Middle East, returns to his village & flaunts his wealth to gain social acceptance. But his business plans go wrong & he starts to financially crumble, which culminates in him breaking the promise of paying for his daughter Achu's (Anu Emmanuel) friend Lakshmi's surgery. Achu attempts suicide in ignominy & Ajayachandran leaves the village in disgrace. Years later, a now grown up Lakshmi (Meera Nandan) runs into Ajayachandran.

Gopikrishnan (Mammootty), a guard at the Vellimala dam, claims to be a war veteran, but is the subject of ridicule in Vellimala because of him being scared of night shifts & because of his claims of seeing ghosts. Varghese (Sreenivasan), the incorruptible new dam engineer stumbles onto a plot by the high & powerful to cast the dam as unsafe thereby evacuating the surrounding village so that they could illegally mine the sand from the dam. Then Varghese goes missing & Gopi swears to find him.

Molly (Revathy), a naturalized American citizen living in Kerala was about to wind up her activities in Kerala & return to US when she gets a rude shock - a sizable tax bill from the govt. tax department. Her attempts to reverse the bill actually worsens the situation & she gets slapped with an even heftier bill. Chagrined by her perceived corruption of the system, she decides to fight the bill in court, which pits her directly against the Asst. Insurance Commissioner Pranav Roy (Prithviraj).

A hodgepodge of characters descend at a communal wedding, each with a selfish motive - Krish (Kunchacko Boban), the dishonest son of an honest father, out to spoil his proposed wedding to an upright girl, Antappan (Biju Menon), the criminal, looking to loot the gold set aside for the couples, Jyothish Kumar (Jayasurya), the effeminate classical dancer, looking to marry a girl after repeated snubs by girls - and chaos ensue.

In a village in Kuttanad, Solomon (Fahadh Faasil), the failed son of a late clarinet player, is in love with Shoshanna (Swathi Reddy), but faces still opposition from her well-heeled family. Various tribulations later, their being together hinges on Solomon playing for the struggling church band & winning the annual tournament. Lending a helping hand was Fr. Vincent Vattoli (Indrajith), the newly appointed maverick junior priest at the church who was an artist himself.

Immanuel (Mammootty), after the book publishing firm he worked in went broke, seeks out a new job as an insurance agent in a corporate insurance firm. Out of his element, Immanuel tries to cope with the new world where the only thing mattered was profit. Unable to meet the unrealistic targets set for him, & sure to lose his job soon, Immanuel decides to use the rest of his time to help the company's customers whose claims were previously denied by the company for fabricated reasons.

3 ex-convicts, Vishnu (Kunchacko Boban), Pappan (Prathap K. Pothan) & Louis (Biju Menon), after getting out of jail, starts a children's' daycare with the help of Dr. Isaac (Narain), who had counseled them in prison. Later, they agree to "kidnap" Isaac's son, with Isaac's permission, to thwart a divorce lawsuit brought on by Isaac's wife, but later realize that the boy didn't belong to Isaac & that he was using them to kidnap someone else's son.

Savithri (Rima Kallingal), the wife of a high-salaried professional Nandagopan (Murali Gopi) & mother of two, is a litterateur & a talented chess player, who reigns supreme at her local chess club. But her pride is crushed by a young man called Shishir (Praveen Anidil) who bests Savithri at the game. During the summer, as her family is away, Savithri gets to know Shishir more, & as she finds herself attracted to him, she is torn between the thoughts of her family & her feelings for him.

Sathyanathan (Jayaram), a teacher who is a serial alcoholic & who avoids his familial duties, gets tired of his wife Priya (Gopika). After he falls into the company of some freewheeling youngsters & gets introduced to Facebook, Sathyanathan gets enamored with them & seeks an affair through Facebook.

Najeeb (Maqbool Salmaan) is a youngster from an orthodox Muslim family who wishes to be a film star against his father's wishes, while Savithri (Mythili) is a motherless girl from a poor family who lands up in the film industry to escape her abusive father Gopi (Sasi Kalinga). The duo get a chance to be the lead pair in a film that appears to be an ordinary love story but turns out to be a sleaze-fest when it releases. The pair, subsequently, is ostracized from society.

Balu (Aju Varghese), who goes to Chennai for an interview gets kidnapped & the kidnapper demands Rs. 10,000 in ransom, to be delivered into Balu's bank account in 2 hours. Balu contacts his friend in Kochi, Kishore (Indrajith), an ad filmmaker, for the money. Balu, en route to reconciling with his estranged wife Surya (Mamta Mohandas), is forced to put that aside & run around Kochi to arrange for the money.

Karthik (Dulquer Salmaan), a Brahmin, & Riya (Malavika Mohanan), a Christian, both of whom hailed from the same town, fall in love & elope to Ooty. However, a couple of days later, they fight over a small issue & split, after their egos get the better of them. They vow never to talk to each other again, but they end up with jobs at the same firm where they are forced to work together again. Warming up to each other again, they realize they still had feelings for each other.

Ajayan (Fahadh Faasil), a Bangalore-based techie who moonlights as a social issues blogger pseudonymously known as 'Olipporali' (Guerilla Warrior), gets into a motorcycle accident & ends up in the hospital fighting for his life. While he lay on his deathbed, his spirit takes a human-like form unseen by others, & recounts his childhood, his childhood speech impediment & his love life. He also meets a kindred spirit from his childhood, Kumaran (Kalabhavan Mani), with whom he has shared memories.

Joy Thakkolkaran (Jayasurya), an entrepreneur, after coming across the technology to make incense sticks from elephant dung, struggles to get this fledgling incense manufacturing company off the ground, but has to lock horns with the local political party RIP (Revolutionary Independent Party). The kerfuffle results in RIP goons thrashing Joy's office building after Joy defies a hartal (strike) called by RIP. Joy files for damages against RIP, & a battle of wits ensues.

Chandran Pillai (Jayaram) is a widower from a village in Kerala. Bhama (Meera Nandan), who is a teacher, wants to get married to Chandran Pillai & be a mother to his son, whom she likes a lot. Chandran travels to Madirasi to buy a brand new bike for his son. There he is drawn into a very vicious circle when he goes probing the disappearance of Johny (Kalabhavan Mani), a police constable & locks horns with Devaram (John Vijay), Superintendent of Police.

Siddharth (Indrajith), a creative executive at an advertising agency & his friend, dancer Veena (Ramya Nambeeshan), try to solve the mystery of their friend Icha (Nivin Pauly) who starts to appear before both of them at the same time. They seek the help of a friend, Sudheer Bose (Prathap Pothen), who researches on folklore & parapsychology.

Vijay Das (Prithviraj), a London-based businessman & cutthroat usurer, gets a chance to marry up when one of the richest men in Britain, C.S. Nambiar (Prathap K. Pothan), asks him to marry his daughter Pavithra (Andrea Jeremiah). Vijay now has to fake a humane side to impress the do-gooder Pavithra, which included caring for Merin (Nandita Raj), a Malayali nurse whom Vijay had hit with his car. However, Vijay & Merin fall in love & he has to choose between Pavithra's immense riches & Merin.

Kunchacko (Asif Ali), who grew up stealing bicycles along with his friends Ramesh (Saiju Kurup) & Rahim (Bineesh Kodiyeri) & mentor Bose Prakash (Salim Kumar), falls out with them after a heist goes wrong & Ramesh runs off with 3 crores. 5 years later, Kunchacko is in another city working as a driver for lawyer Kasinath (Vijay Nath) & running con jobs in his spare time. He meets bank employee Meera (Aparna Gopinath) & weaves plans to rob the bank where Meera works.

Devadas (Jayaram), a struggling theater actor & director, tries to keep his drama troupe 'Sargavedi' alive amidst a general decline in theater audience & his own inability to keep up with the times, while on the personal front, he is estranged from his wife Sudharma (Sajitha Madathil) because of an affair he had several years ago with Jyothi (Ramya Nambeeshan), his heroine at that time, & who is now a top movie star.

'Vedi Vazhipadu' depicts the events in a time frame of 24 hours on the Pongala festival day at the Attukal Temple. 3 friends, bank cashier Sanjay (Saiju Kurup), investor Pradeep (Sreejith Ravi) & video game tester Rahul (Murali Gopy), have made secret plans for the day when their wives will be away at the festival. On the said day, the friends gather in Rahul's apartment. They have booze & a prostitute, Sumithra (Anumol), & plan to enjoy themselves. However, things don't go as planned.

To keep a promise his father Philipose made to his late wife Sara (Nimisha Suresh), Isaac Newton (Lal), now in his late 30s, has been writing SSLC for 17 years to no avail, despite the promise of marriage to his childhood sweetheart Annie (Abhinaya). Newton's chances are further foiled by the new rich guy in the village, George, who had his eye on Annie & uses his wealth & influence to turn Annie's family against Newton & frames Newton for the murder of Annie's uncle Varkey (Chempil Asokan).

4 pals - Dominic (Wilson Joseph), Omanakuttan (Sekhar Menon), Gautham (Sanju) & Sunny (Sreenath Bhasi) - struggling to make ends meet & pay the rent to their landlord Thulasidharan Pillai (Sunil Sukhada), unwittingly manage to disrupt a deal involving stolen diamonds, which pits them against a dreaded don Baptist (Manoj K. Jayan) & a ruthless criminal Amir (Simhaa). They get away to Pondicherry to bunk with their friend Oommen (Hari Krishnaraj) to escape the heat, but their troubles follow them.

3 juvenile delinquents - Balu (Rohith), Ananthan(Achu Arun Kumar) & Musthafa (Vishnu Unnikrishnan) - escape from a juvie & become suspects in the rape & murder of Aswathi (Anu Sithara), Balu's girlfriend. CI Santosh Kumar (Tini Tom) is tasked to find & bring them to justice.

Tired of their dead-end jobs, Siddharth (Vineeth Kumar) & Daveed (Jacob Gregory) decide to make a quick buck & gets involved in a money laundering racket run by gangster Murugan (Shammi Thilakan), but they screw up & lose 5 lakhs. To pay off an angry Murugan, they deftly rob the jewelry meant for the wedding of ex-NRI Benny's (Prathap Pothen) daughter Nimmi (Swapna Menon). But now Murugan wants the whole loot & chases them around town for it, while Benny struggles to hold the wedding as planned.

Pauly Varghese (Kunchacko Boban), communist activist & a constant headache for the corrupt panchayat president Sukumaran Nair (Vijayaraghavan), decides to start a business with the 30 lakhs he receives from the government as restitution, after his soldier father (Sadiq) is killed in a terrorist attack. But soon Pauly realizes that starting a business in Kerala is not easy without greasing the right palms. Pauly refuses to pay bribes & ends up facing the ire of the bureaucracy & the trade unions.

A rich girl (Sanusha) hires Beeran (Vijayaraghavan), whom she thinks is a contract killer, to murder herself & thus implicate her two-timing boyfriend for it. Beeran, who was a novice, gives the contract to Freddy (Baburaj), a juice stall owner, who owes Beeran money. As the girl waits for the killer to come, a thief (Asif Ali) breaks into her apartment. A series of incidents start between Freddy, the thief & the rich girl.

Mamachan (Biju Menon),a small-town politician, uses his ingenuity & shrewdness to get the girl of his dreams, Lisa (Nikki Galrani), & win an election to become the M.L.A.

David Abraham IPS (Prithviraj), now on suspension, tries to help a group of youngsters - Shaan Shahar (Vinay Forrt), Abey (Tovino Thomas), Vinu Ramachandran (Anu Mohan), Cyril Samuel (Praveen Prem) & Jessy (Janani Iyer) - who were in trouble for losing a big sum of money belonging to a dreaded crime lord called Christopher Moriarti.

Neil John Samuel (Fahadh Faasil), a sales manager at a car dealership, comes in possession of a bag containing INR 1 crore, which belonged to builder Isaac (Renji Panicker) who meant to buy a rare gem with it, which was supposed to bring him luck. Neil is chased by a gangster Makudi Das (Joju George) & his gang as Neil had a run-in with Das's brother (Nandan Unni). Meanwhile Neil's girlfriend Pia (Niveda Thomas) was trying to raise money for her charity, to perform surgery for 5 kids.

3 engineering students & best friends - Koobrin Antony (Bharath), Tharun (Tovino Thomas) & Ram (Sunny Wayne) - after being kicked out from college, try their luck with various jobs to no avail. Then they meet an enigmatic sailor called Ustad Sally (Mohanlal), who encourages them to take a second shot at life by buying a boat. Sally cheats them on the deal & they end up with a junk boat, but they determine to carry on.

Fish auctioneer Malik (Mammootty) is forced to give shelter to a Jewish British citizen, Michelle (Caroline Bech), after she is forced to leave her hotel, Hotel Casalinda. As Malik couldn't speak or understand a word of English & Michelle a word of Malayalam, Malik tries to learn English. After Malik realizes that he is being used by his politician friend Paulose Punnokkaaran (Sathar) & his ex-father-in-law (Ramu) to steal Michelle's ancestral property, Hotel Casalinda, he decides to help her.

After the death of their teenage son Anand (Prajwal Prasad), financier Venugopal P.K. (Mammootty) & his wife Nandini (Asha Sharath), channel their sorrow & frustration into altruism. Venugopal uses his financing company 'Anand Finance' to give our low-interest loans to the needy, ruffling the feathers of others in the business.

The happiness of the Parankiyath family is shattered when Kasim's (Siddique) eldest daughter Wahida (Kanika) elopes with her lover Madhavankutty (Jayaram), before her wedding. In the resulting clash, Kasim kills his best pal's son Ramesh (Irshad) & goes to jail for 7 years. Once out of jail, Kasim is paralyzed in a murder attempt & Madhavankutty comes disguised as Dr. Mammootty to treat Kasim. Wahida also returns to the house, but no one knows of their relation & they are forced to play along.

In the village of Mandaramkadavu, wannabe inventor Apoorvan (Jayaram) & his cohorts Chopra (Baburaj) & Babumon (Kalabhavan Shajohn) get into trouble when they lose Rs. 1 crore of the villagers' money in a scam claiming to provide solar energy to the village. Escaping from the village, they plot to kidnap a wealthy old lady Rosemary (Sheela) & demand a tidy sum as a ransom from her son. However, the tables are turned when they learn that Rosemary had planned the snatch all along & was using them.

Brothers Sam (Kunchacko Boban) & Joji (Indrajith) along with their cousin brothers Pauly (Suraaj Venjarammoodu) & Tony (Joju George), decide to go on a trip to Sam's old college, in an attempt to regain Sam's memory of his 6 years of college life, which he had lost in an accident. En route, at the village of Chandragiri, they come across characters from Sam's past & learn that Sam had married the sister of the local bigwig Nagaraj Veerappan (Pradeep Singh Rawat) & they were awaiting her return.

3 young men - Manu (Siju Raghavan), Sudhi (Anoop Vijay) & Kishore (Sidharth) - are accosted one night by a drunk stranger, Ravindran (Irshad), & they all end up drinking & sleeping over at his house. However, in the morning, Ravindran can't remember them & accuses them of stealing his gold & cash. They also get a call from a stranger accusing them of the same & demanding money for not snitching on them to the cops. To top it off, Ravindran turns up dead & the caller accuses them of doing it too.

Annamma (Roma) & Chandy (Aju Varghese) get engaged, but the day before the wedding, Chandy elopes to be with another girl, informing his mother that he will be in Bali, Indonesia. Annamma follows him to the island to know the reason why Chandy ditched her, but there her life changes forever as she makes new friends & breaks out of her shell.

Raman (Dileep) returns to his hometown of Ramapuram in Kerala after 30 years to encash an investment his late parents had left for him. Unbeknownst to Raman, he was the son of Veebhadran (Santhosh Keezhattoor), who had killed Indrasimhan (Anand) of Ravanapuram, Ramapuram's rival village. Raman ends up in the house of Indrasimhan's brother Narasimham (Nagineedu), who had vowed to kill him. Raman tries to stay alive, while Narasimhan's daughter Krishna (Nikki Galrani) thinks Raman is chasing her.

Christy (Sunny Wayne), an ambulance driver, is hired to transport a corpse by the relatives of the deceased, to a remote location. However, halfway through the trip, Christy realizes that the relatives in the vehicle were hired goons tasked with destroying the corpse. Intrigued, Christy shakes them off & tries to unravel the reasons behind the death of the person, whom he recognizes to be a kind stranger whom he had briefly met just earlier that day.

Police constables Balagopal (Sreejith Ravi) & Jolly Kurian (Joju George), who hate each other, are ordered to transfer 2 prisoners from Kannur to Trivandrum. They board the train with the handcuffed inmates, but at the Kayamkulam station, prisoner Nandu (Vineeth Sreenivasan) escapes. They get off the train at the next stop with the 2nd inmate Maaran (Chemban Vinod Jose) & frantically searches for Nandu. The 3 unlikely musketeers band together to dig up Nandu's story to see why he escaped.

Aaron (Jayasurya), a budding cricketer who loses his eyesight as a kid in an accident, tries to realize his dream of forming an Indian cricket team for the blind, with the help of former washed-up coach Gopi Krishnan (Lal).

A first-time movie director, Kishore Kumar (Maqbool Salmaan), gets conned into making a screenplay into a movie, which turns out to be the frame-by-frame copy of a Korean movie. Shortly after Kishore's movie becomes a success, the director of the Korean movie approaches him & demands 5 crores in payment within 15 days.

Neena (Deepti Sati), a brilliant creative director at an ad agency, but a serial smoker & an alcoholic, takes a fancy to her new boss Vinay Panicker (Vijay Babu) who treats her kindly. When Vinay spurns her advances since he was happily married to Nalini (Ann Augustine), Neena attempts suicide, but scraps through. Vinay checks her into a rehab, & decides to give her company. As Neena sobered up, she distances herself from Vinay, but Vinay now starts getting attracted to her, complicating things.

Majeed (Mammootty) & Suhra (Isha Talwar) are childhood sweethearts & neighbors. Majeed was born to rich parents, while Suhra was born to poor parents. An argument with his father causes Majeed to leave the house & travel for several years, but on his return, he learns that Suhra has been married off. Suhra returns after being the victim of a disastrous marriage & they again get together. But Majeed leaves again to find a job to earn money for them to get married, and ends up in Calcutta.

C.P. Swathanthran (Mammootty), the son of Late Parameshwaran Pillai (Joy Mathew), a Gandhian, is fighting his relative Soman Thampi (Sunil Sukhada), to reclaim his ancestral assets. Listening to his pals' dopy advises, C.P. constantly loses money & face, with the latest being a hunger strike at the Trivandrum Secretariat, to erect a statue of his father in his village Kokraankara. C.P.'s love interest Umadevi (Jewel Mary), meanwhile was striking nearby to find the killers of a murdered student.

A tailor (Kunchacko Boban) fall in love with Sumathi (Rima Kallingal), the daughter of a rich man (Joy Mathew), but the rich man wants to marry her off to a UK-based Malayali (Kunchacko Boban). They fight all odds to unite.

Joan Mary John aka Jo (Manju Warrier), a freelance photographer & animator, forges a bond with a 10-year old boy, Christian Rudolf aka Cris (Sanoop Santhosh). Together, they create an animated character called 'Criz', based on Cris, which becomes a hit. However, success puts pressure on their relationship, & coupled with dirty tricks from their former employer, drives them apart.

Mrinalini (Nikki Galrani), who wins the Booker Prize for her book 'Rudrasimhasanam', visits Manavathoor Kovilakam, her now derelict ancestral home, where she recalls her past. Mrinalini is in fact Haimavathi, the daughter of Neelakanta Raja (Devan), who was killed by an elephant. After his death, Haimavathi realizes that her dad's assistant Sivathanu (Nedumudi Venu) is not who he seems to be, & is after her. But then arrives Rudrasimhan (Suresh Gopi), a mystic who vows to protect Haimavathi.

Josutty (Dileep) a god-fearing simpleton from a poor Christian family from Kattappana, Idukki, gets married to a nurse Rose (Jyothi Krishna), working in Rotorua, New Zealand & moves there. However, when Rose cheats on him & reunites with her ex-lover, they separate, & Josutty starts an Indian restaurant which becomes a success. Several years later, rich, but still single, Josutty finally decides to permanently move back to his hometown.

Middle-class working couple Aravindan T.P. (Biju Menon) & Priya (Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli) get caught up in the rat race for the extremely selective private school admissions as they try to secure a kindergarten admission for their only child, Manu (Kristian Varkichan).

Jude (Sunny Wayne), a loner musician, meets an eccentric rich man, Fernandez (Prathap Pothen), & his lonely wife Merlin (Ramya Krishnan). Being in a sexless marriage for the past 15 years, Merlin is frustrated & is drawn to Jude.

Pallikkal Narayanan (Mammootty), an elderly laborer doing small-time work in Dubai, passes away in his sleep. His life is shown as a flashback, starting from the 1960s, when he, as a young man, along with his friend Moitheen, illegally emigrates to Dubai in search of work, after a long & hard journey on a dhow. Despite working hard for decades till his death, Narayanan is unable to meet the ever-rising needs & demands of his family & extended family.

Bharath (Gokul Suresh Gopi), a student, has the weird habit of kissing people nearby when he is happy, regardless of the social situation. This gets him into trouble with gangster Ramakrishnan Bonacaud, aka Rambo (Vijay Babu), when Rambo shoots his own urinary bladder after he is distracted by Bharath's kiss. As Rambo tries to locate Bharath, he also recruits two petty criminals - Kumari (Soubin Shahir) and Puthari (Hareesh) to chase down Padayappa (Baiju), the local CI who crossed Rambo.

James (Prithviraj) & Alice (Vedika) fall in love & get married, but after having a kid & slipping into mundane married life, their troubles start. James gets busy with work & doesn't get time for family, which ends up in Alice filing for divorce. At this juncture, James has a car accident which puts him in a coma. His spirit encounters St. Peter (Sijoy Varghese) who walks him through what he did wrong with Alice in life. Alice, meanwhile on earth, also realizes how important James was to her.

Carefree young man Jomon (Shine Tom Chacko) is constantly berated by his father, cop Luka (Shanker), for not taking life seriously. Then Jomon gets a chance to turn his life around by installing a windmill for the city, but someone sabotages his windmill causing for it to collapse. Neck deep in debt to his roommates, Jomon is forced to find a way to redo his project. Meanwhile, Salomi (Ansiba), a girl whose marriage proposal he disrupted, gets after him with the demand that he marries her.

Sudhi (Jayasurya), a young man, struggles to cope with his stuttering problem, something which had plagued him since he was a child. After the girl (Swathy Narayanan) whom he was engaged to dumped him over it, Sudhi becomes determined to tame his stuttering & make his life better.

Jiya (Amala Paul), a rich heiress, gets into a car accident & suffers short-term memory loss of the past 2 years of her life. Learning of the importance of someone in her life whom she abbreviates as 'P', 2 charlatans, calling themselves Pranav Menon (Kunchacko Boban) & Prince (Jayasurya), turn up, each claiming to be Jiya's lover, but whom she no longer remembers. A confused Jiya tries to verify both their claims, but each had ulterior motives.

Shubha (Bhama) always dreamt of marrying someone based in the US, but she is tricked into marrying Vinayan (Indrajith) who was based in Kenya. Shubha is tricked to move to Kenya, but after an initial outburst, she reconciles with Vinayan & settles into a happy life. However, soon afterwards, they both get embroiled in a mess where they are forced to kill a tribal leader's son in self-defense & go on the run from the tribals & from an internal criminal called Anton Kulasingham (Murali Gopy).

Three friends - Denny Kokken (Aju Varghese), Priya Lal (Sharafudheen) & Shibu Majeed (Govind Padmasoorya) - run a beachfront hotel after leaving their jobs. Their happy existence is threatened by paranormal phenomena which starts occurring at the hotel. Frustrated & scared, they seek the help of a mentalist, John Don Bosco (Jayasurya), to get to the root of the paranormal activity.

In Ponnani, a 23-year old Muslim boy, Irfan (Shane Nigaam), & a 28-year old scheduled caste Hindu girl, Anitha (Sruthi Menon), fall in love, but faces backlash from society. They go to the local police station to seek their help to unite, but the cops call their parents who try to coax them apart.

Suku (S.V. Krishna Shankar), a financially struggling young man, thinks he struck gold when he got the task of managing the affairs of a Qatari sheikh who comes to Kerala, Ahmmadi (Biju Menon).
