Bio: I'm old enough to not watch movies to prove how brave I am, and entertained enough to not watch them to enjoy creative directorship and excellent acting. I am a bias viewer who watches movies to gain new lenses with which to see the Light in the world in a truer form and in hidden places.... I also have kids so I will rate some kiddies movies too (I don't compromise on Christian family-values filters when vetting children's movies).

House of David (2025) - Rated 11 Dec 2025

Exceptional acting and directorship that carries the heart and essence of the scriptures, ethos and pathos... There is a lot filler drama that some might find unnecessary but centre remains the centre and everything is seamless. David's relationship with Michal was brought earlier in chronology than is biblically accurate, soft Hollywood-style leather was also often used where in reality they would have rather used metallic scale armor. Otherwise embellishments but no significant divergence.
