Palindromes (2004) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"always an intresting director, this strange experiment with 8 actors doing the same role is successfull, yet, the lightness of dealing with sex and kids is disturbing."

Robots (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"in hollywood, where producers are gods, a movie is done about achieving your goals in a personal way, even if your way is non-conformistic. Give me a break!"

Talk to Her (2002) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"what is a director to do, when he just directed a masterpiece that won all the prizes there are, including the oscar? the solution Almodovar found, is to go back to the crazy movies he made in the 80', but to take a different, more mature look at them. such a movie is "talk to her". moving, very well acted, beuatifully shot, and masterfully directed."

Swimming Pool (2003) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"I see Francois Ozon as the next Almodovar. In a few years he will supply us his "all about my mother". In the meantime, this a movie is a step in the way of getting there- intresting, well acted, but with to much sex, and a story that falls apart towards the end."

Love Actually (2003) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"the problem in multi-storied movies like these is that some of the stories might intrest you more than others. most of the stories here are charming and funny. good acting, especially by Emma Thompson."

Dogville (2003) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"in my personal opinion, Lars von trier is the best director in the world today, yet, this movie is a little bit weaker than the others.a very good camera work makes you forget the theatrical experiment that is going on, but unlike his previous movies, I didn't really think that the end of the movie (powerfull in his own way) justifies all of Grace's sufferings."

The Bourne Identity (2002) - Rated 13 Aug 2007
"questions of identity have always intrested me (ever since I saw Hitcock's "North by northwest"), so I had high hopes of this movie. I expected it to be an action movie with depth. there's (good) action in this movie, and good acting in the leading role by Matt Damon, but the dealing with the identity issue is superficial."
