"I had fun. I don't think Burton should make movies anymore, and I don't really care for Jenna Ortega's character, however I'm moved by Lydia and her relationship with her step-mother. They both give so much in so few scenes, it's quite brilliant. Sadly, the plot is a mess, and I wish the style was more in line with the original one, as this one feels... a bit bland sometimes."

"The first half is great, I really loved it. However, the second half, and the end, are not good, with a boring section and a weird pacing. It felt rushed and badly written. Too bad!"
