Final Grrl Horror No Spoilers Movie Review They Will Kill You is a 2026 action-horror comedy from Kirill Sokolov, who co-wrote it with Alex Litvak, and this is one I absolutely should have seen the second it came out. I waited until Tuesday so I could go with a friend, and the whole time I was sitting there I was thinking, yeah, I should have been here immediately. This movie hit so many things I love at once. It opens in a way that immediately... - Full Review

Antichrist (2009) - Rated 02 Apr 2026

I recently asked for horror movie recommendations across my social media, and you all gave me a huge list, so thank you for that. One of the next movies I picked from that list was Antichrist (2009), which was recommended in my horror club based on how brutal it is. Cannibal Mukbang (2023) - Rated 24 Mar 2026

Final Grrl Horror No Spoilers Movie Review Cannibal Mukbang is a 2023 indie horror romance from writer-director Aimee Kuge, and honestly, this ended up being one of those movies that completely cleared the low bar I had set for it and then kept going. Slanted (2025) - Rated 14 Mar 2026

Final Grrl Horror No Spoilers Movie Review Slanted (2026) Slanted came out in theaters today, and after seeing it tonight with my 13-year-old daughter, I can already say this is going to be one of those movies that catches people off guard. It’s basically Mean Girls crossed with The Substance light, with the whole thing playing like a movie-length Black Mirror episode. The premise is bizarre, the tone is weird in a way that works, and... - Full Review

Undertone (2025) - Rated 14 Mar 2026

Final Grrl Horror No Spoilers Movie Review Undertone (2026) Undertone is the kind of movie I already know I need to watch again, but honestly, if I could redo the first watch, I would not do it in a theater unless I knew for a fact the room was going to stay dead quiet. I saw it last night, and because this movie is so built around sound, every person stomping in and out, messing with chairs, and acting like they were the only ones in the... - Full Review
