KPop Demon Hunters (2025) - Rated 24 Aug 2025
"Finally got to see this in its entirely at the cinema (thanks Netflix!) with my kids, and it was a blast. It rests heavily on the tropes that it is also blasting away at with hyper and kinetic animation. The characters are likable, the humour switches from broad to sly to surreal on a moment's notice, and the songs are catchy. Infectious, even."

"I appreciate the absurdity and the bromance and just the right amount of Jennifer Coolidge, but without those this would be a gutter-ball movie. Kids hated it too."

"Pete Davidson is having a blast voicing this, and you can tell. Does a great job catching the feel of the books (which I have been enjoying with my kid), and the visuals work mostly pretty well. Not sure I would recommend it to folks that can't deal with the books."
