Meh. At least it’s gay.

The Reader (2008) - Rated 12 Jan 2025
Have seen this film countless times (ok yes because of the boobs) but I love the story as well.

Ammonite (2020) - Rated 12 Jan 2025
Slow, grey, depressing but beautiful. I have seen this film a couple of times and I just feel a sense of relaxation whenever I watch it. Sure, nothing really happens, it’s slow paced and the ending didn’t make sense… but I enjoyed watching it. Kate Winslet is an exceptional actress.

Tell It to the Bees (2018) - Rated 12 Jan 2025
Romantic, heartbreaking and accurate to the time period. Open ending.
