"PT Anderson is trying too hard to emulate Robert Altman's stylistic chops here and brings little else to the table. Too wrapped up in its own importance and most of the characters and storylines just leave me cold. I like Anderson but this is a bad movie. Save your time and watch (or rewatch) Altman's "Short Cuts" instead."
