"Not sure how I missed that one. I am inclined to compare it the Leftovers because they were both made by Damon Lindelof. The tone is very different but I also consider this one almost as good as it could be. Not everyone will like the wackiness and that's fine. But I've rarely seen a show where everything ties up so neatly. There's a few scenes / shortcuts that could have been done better. But regardless, this is peak TV. Makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you exclaim "what the fu....""
