"A film of certain limitations, none of which remotely mattered to me as I was actually watching it. This is engrossing and flat-out fun, very much echoing the playful breadcrumb storytelling of Cregger’s Barbarian, but with a larger (albeit very contained) canvas. None of its reveals are shocking, but the glee with which this mystery slowly unravels (reaching a gory culmination that’s downright joyful) is consistently pleasureful to witness."
