It's pretty much the same movie as the first part, except that SPOILERS(!), now the killings are done by Jason. It's difficult to decide which one is better, but considering that this is even more of a copy than the first one was, I think I'll rate this a bit lower.

Reminds me quite a bit of Oddity, but is better and doesn't fall apart quite as badly in the end. This did still feel uneven, but it feels like McCarthy is getting there, and I quite liked the trauma aspect of this film.

The Woman in Cabin 10 (2025) - Rated 06 Oct 2026

Feels like a worse-than-average episode of Hercule Poirot. That's not the worst thing in the world because Hercule Poirot is pretty good, but also means that there really isn't any reason for anyone to see this movie. It starts off ok, and is interesting about to the half-way point. Then it starts getting worse and the end is just completely stupid. Kiera Knightley ok in this.

I don't really understand the negativity around this movie. It's not Fincher, but I think it was a solid thriller with strong performances all around. The plot isn't flawless, but I think holds up well enough, although there is one element (difficult to be more specific without spoilers) that might not be for everyone, and also feels sort of unnecessary, but I didn't mind. All in all, I think if you enjoy movies like this, it's pretty good! If you don't, I don't think this will change your mind

Often the movie has a good idea or premise, but that falls apart. The Long Walk has a stupid premise, but it sort of works. It's definitely not a great film, and very obviously just an excuse to have a series of death scenes that are dramatic in some way, but it still managed to keep my attention.
