MAKCOH

It's a film by old-timers, for old-timers. The cast is excellent and the performances are top-notch, but I didn't see any real drama, and the runtime is way too long—three and a half hours? That's a lot for a film like this... Maybe retirees will enjoy it for a bit of nostalgia.

Dexter: New Blood (2021) - Rated 30 Nov 2025

The season was very interesting overall. However, I didn't like the son's behavior; it felt like he was just getting in the way the entire season. And the season finale was incredibly sad and illogical. I don't believe the son would ever do that to the father he had been searching for. It's as if they deliberately made the ending that way... But overall, it was very engaging.

Dexter: Original Sin (2024) - Rated 30 Nov 2025

The actor chosen to play Dexter's father was excellent. The actress who portrayed the young Debra, however, was overacting; it was unpleasant to watch her scenes. The main actor playing the young Dexter was quite good – he had a crazed look in his eyes – but he still lacked a certain coldness in his face; it was just too kind for such a role. Overall, it turned out quite well and was very engaging to watch.

The Family Plan (2023) - Rated 30 Nov 2025

I didn't like the movie. I was already bored by the 20th minute and had to force myself to keep watching after that. I was cringing harder with each passing minute. The main character is this kind of all-powerful Jackie Chan type with a completely fabricated, fantastical life. I was hoping to see some personal struggles from the character and maybe some kind of redemption arc, but what I got was super cheesy, hero-centric nonsense.

Dexter: Resurrection (2025) - Rated 30 Nov 2025

This season was absolutely brilliant, and the cast was simply phenomenal. Throughout this season, you constantly expect something more from the characters, some kind of cooler resolution. The writer keeps feeding you numerous possibilities for how things could develop, and when your expectations aren't met, it's both frustrating and kind of awesome at the same time. Michael C. Hall, with his trademark crazy look, is as superb as ever.
