this was a pretty good film, above my expectations. it was very exciting all the way through, with a really nice twist toward the end, not very predictable. i highly recommend it if you like suspense.

what can i say, it's the film of my life, or at least the romantic comedy of my life! :) I take out 5 points due to the very subtle heterosexism. i know, it's not so unexpectable, esp. for a film made in '89 but still...

I really liked this one. It had nice twists and turns. Catherine Zeta-Jones is always a good and versatile actor. Jason Bartha was sure cute! :) I just wasn't convinced with his lines when Zeta-Jones drops the big news on him toward the end. Dunno if it was the script itself or the delivery. The kids were cute too; Hollywood seems to be using smart-talking kids a lot lately. Seeing Istanbul and Saadet Isil Aksoy toward the end was a nice surprise. Watch it if you're into rom-coms.

i just loved this film. i love toni collette anyway, and i thought this was a very interesting, fun film, bringing "some like it hot" and "victor/victoria" to mind, by the way it plays with gender, or even "tootsie" and "şabaniye". :)
