Great cheesy 80s-style grossout flick. Manages to be both unique and original despite being cobbled together from bits and pieces of what must be a dozen different older movies.

The Devil's Rejects (2005) - Rated 13 Aug 2007

Rob Zombie's second brutal little carnival ride will please fans of shocksploitation and splatter films through the first half but doesn't hold together through to the end.

Shaun of the Dead (2004) - Rated 13 Aug 2007

Hilarious splatstick and loving tribute to the original Romero trilogy. Spiritual successor to the Peter Jackson classic Dead Alive, an all around great entry into the genre of zombie films.

Rhinoceros Eyes (2003) - Rated 13 Aug 2007

Bizarre, Lynch-esque trip through the eyes of a young autistic boy who happens to lead a rather surreal life. Currently still lacking in the DVD release it deserves. Highly recommended if you get the opportunity.

May (2002) - Rated 13 Aug 2007

Unique and creepy low-budget movie that is far too likely to be overlooked. Definitely worth a rental.
