70 25% Shaun of the Dead (2004) - Nov 10, 2019
"Satirical and funny, though not uproariously so, 'Shaun of the Dead' combines the light-heartedness of a comedy and the drama of a zombie flick quite well. I can definitely see why it's considered a cult classic."
60 9% Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) - Nov 03, 2019
"Jack Black and The Rock turn this movie into something watchable. Seriously, Jack Black making "Fuck me" eyes at The Rock is the only reason someone needs to watch this movie."
100 90% Happy Gilmore (1996) - Nov 02, 2019
"It's not a deep or emotionally driven film, and its characters are all one-dimensional. However, it is the pinnacle of cheap, childish humour. That might be a bad thing to some, but I've got a soft spot for it. And just remember, "The price is wrong, Bitch!""
90 70% Joker (2019) - Oct 09, 2019
"Fascinating and dark, Phoenix gives an amazing performance, even rivalling Heath Ledger, which I didn't think was possible. 'Joker' sticks to the characters personality while diverting from the source material. It's also erratically violent and one of the few movies I agree deserves an 18 rating, though it is all the better for it."
70 25% Men in Black (1997) - Oct 09, 2019
"Men in Black doesn't hold up as well as I remember, but it's still a buddy cop movie with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones with the added element of aliens so there's only so much the movie can do wrong."
70 25% 22 Jump Street (2014) - Oct 08, 2019
"Perhaps a bit too much meta humour, but otherwise still fun to watch, if less so than the first."
80 48% 21 Jump Street (2012) - Oct 08, 2019
"Funny and satirical without being too satirical, Tatum and Hill are a partnership that works when no-one would have guessed so."
90 70% Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) - Oct 08, 2019
"'Far From Home' builds on 'Homecoming' and 'Endgame' by allowing the viewers to see the emotional subtext without shoving it in their face. It also bring great visuals on par with 'Doctor Strange' while still keeping it grounded like a Spider-man film should be. Overall, one of the better MCU films, especially when it comes to rewatch ability and having something for everyone."
80 48% Aladdin (1992) - Oct 01, 2019
"Robin Williams turns this from a meh movie to a Disney classic with his excellent and funny voice acting ability."
90 70% Gravity Falls (2012) - Oct 01, 2019
"The humour might be too childlike for some, but otherwise this is one of the best animated tv-series around, especially when you realise that it's made for all ages. The mystery is enticing and the characters are amazing. Truly original."
