"Years ago, when I first saw Ricky Gervais in The Office, I didn't like him - but it was really the character he was playing was just annoying, right? In Extras, he plays a somewhat similar character, but, I think, it's more relatable and believable. I enjoyed his friendship with Maggie as well as the many guest appearances throughout the series. Oh and Stephen Merchant is always a hoot, too. I really enjoyed Curb Your Enthusiasm and found Extras to have a similar vibe."

"Slow, cussword, slow, cussword, cussword western soap opera with a Shakespean-like language slant. They likely pulled off what they intended to do and it was interesting from a historical timepiece point of view but I didn't find myself liking any of the characters or caring about their outcomes. Watched the entire series but never felt like "Can't wait to find out what happens next" when sitting down to watch."

"Watched all 3 seasons: plane, and train, ferry. Story for each is intriguing but with a few far fetched parts that definitely detracted, and some of the actors were either poor or just annoyingly unlikeable but I've seen worse. Short seasons keep the story moving. In The end word: weak."
