The story of Theranos is really the epitome of start-up culture gone wrong, so it's good that it got a series that holds up. Seyfried is rightly getting a ton of praise--she's pitch perfect--but Naveen Andrews should also be in that conversation. His portrayal of Balwani is now the cornerstone for a schlubby-douche, which is a character you see all the time in real life (especially in corporate America) but not often enough in media.

Probably the most promising TV Series in 2022 so far. I've always intrigued by devastative life story of Elizabeth Holmes and first three episode were wonderful. Can't wait the rest! DAMN Amanda Seyfried deserves the bloody Emmy!

Elizabeth Holmes is the perfect subject for a hit piece on startup culture and the issues that come with sociopathic and often immature people raising capital. They picked the right actress, Amanda played Elizabeth in a really uncanny way.

The story itself is amazing. The show is also good. Seyfried is AMAZING and the show keeps you intrigued.

Great performances all around, especially from Seyfried and Andrews. Story wise, the second half felt rushed. A lot of important characters disappear and we never get to see how they reacted to Holmes and Theranos' downfall. Having watched the HBO documentary, it seems to me there was material for a whole lot more and this show would probably have benefited from one or two more episodes.

The subject material is definitely interesting, but the pacing and plot reconstruction was so off for me that I found it difficult to get into. I was intrigued by Seyfried's portrayal of Homles' decent into deceit (though the pacing did rather detract from this). There are so many (quasi-)docudramas about wild scams and crime that you can no longer rest on the laurels of a fascinating real life event. You've gotta use the medium effectively. Production was clean, though not necessarily polished.

Nicely done. But too many characters I despise to appreciate the show
