84 80% Saving Mr. Banks (2013) - Aug 10, 2020
"Much deeper and more emotionally profound than I expected, with impactful character development, an impeccable Emma Thompson performance, and an absolutely brilliant Thomas Newman score."

75 50% The Invisible Man (2020) - Jul 25, 2020
"Gripping, creative, disturbing, gratuitous. Deeply immersive for the first half, but I felt like it starting showing holes in the 2nd. Incredible Elizabeth Moss performance and an unsettling storyline. I wish they handled it with a meatier message for those who deal with abuse, but perhaps I missed it, and that's also not what every movie needs to be."
70 28% Heroin(e) (2017) - Jul 16, 2020
90 94% Hamilton (2020) - Jul 12, 2020
78 63% Green Book (2018) - Jul 04, 2020
"Despite my expectation that it would be another sappy and misguided race relations Hollywood sigh, the 2 complicated and flawed leads manage to balance various themes beyond simply race. The film drip-feeds enough information over its runtime to keep the development feeling natural and immersive. Surprisingly good, even if it isn't really taking any steps forward."
77 58% Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable (2019) - Jul 01, 2020
