25 0% Glitter (2001) - Rated 29 Aug 2009
"This movie, while not the worst of all times, completely bombed at the box office, nearly ruined the career of singer Mariah Carey, and considered by most, including me as a complete disaster. The script, which depicts the life a singer trying to make it big, is poorly written, and the acting skills of Carey were defiantly not up to par. The only thing even remotely good about this movie is the singer, but that should be expected of a singer. I would not recommend this movie to anyone."
75 40% Mean Girls (2004) - Rated 29 Aug 2009
"Mean Girls is the perfect high school teen film. Written by Saturday Night Live's Tina fey, the story follows a girl's journey through high school as she becomes friends with a group of popular girls. This movie is hilarious but at times it can get a little cheesy. I recommend this movie for teens that are looking for a good laugh but also are willing to face the important issues that one has to face in high school. This movie may be inappropriate or children under 13."
50 20% High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008) - Rated 29 Aug 2009
"Possibly the most popular Disney series of all time, The High School Musical franchise continued to grab the attention of movie goers with its third installment. Simply, it is hard not to enjoy watching these films. The storyline flows nicely, the songs are catchy, and the characters are likable. The "tween" fans of the first and second will remain pleased with the third. My only concern about this movie is that it will not appeal to anyone over the age of about 16."
95 60% Forrest Gump (1994) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"The story of Forrest Gump is an American Classic. Tom Hanks does an amazing job playing a simple-minded man who makes his way through important events in American history, like the Vietnam War and the Kennedy Assassination. I recommend this movie because it not only appeals to the adults that were alive and remember the events in Forrest's life, but it also appeals to the younger generation in providing an alternative way to learn history."
95 60% The Lion King (1994) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"The Lion King is an amazing movie. The combination of animation, and music makes this film appealing to all ages. The very impressive cast including Matthew Broderick, and James Earl Jones embodies these animated characters and make them come alive in this story about growing up and finding yourself. I would defiantly recommend this movie to anyone who likes to laugh or sing and maybe even cry a little."
