25 5% Supernova (2000) - Oct 27, 2013
"The effects are mostly cool, the cast is mostly great, but the script completely sucks, with such classic lines as "He's the worst nightmare I've ever met." Even a grade school student would cringe at having written something so lame. The writing is so heavy-handed, so ham-fisted, it leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. The film clumsily and directly tells you everything it means to say, no reading between the lines here, which makes it boring and disengaging."

90 87% The Tall Man (2012) - Dec 16, 2012
"I am very impressed with this movie. I started out hating it and ended up loving it. For the first 15 minutes or so, I was disappointed that it wasn't a horror movie (it was in the horror section at the video store) , but then I got into it, and it was amazing. Every time I thought I had it figured out, something was revealed that changed everything. The movie doesn't cheat, as in everything makes sense, which makes the twists and turns much more impacting. Definitely a must see."
85 52% Insidious (2010) - Nov 15, 2012
80 34% Piranha 3DD (2012) - Nov 13, 2012
"Cameos, gratuitous boobs, and gore aplenty; this movie is nothing but schlock, and it knows it. As it happens, I am generally entertained by such campiness, so I had fun with this one."
85 52% From Within (2008) - Nov 12, 2012
"This movie delivers some solid performances and interesting story arcs, and also encourages my hatred of most religion."
0% The Key (2008) - Nov 12, 2012
"The story is weak, the dialog is frequently awkward and almost always delivered in the most annoying, stiff ways possible by actors who would be hard-pressed to act wet in a rainstorm. The characters are tremendously painful to watch; the producers seem to have done an especially poor job casting the females. I cannot even describe the feelings I get when I remember that I paid money to see this. Easily in the top ten worst movies I've ever seen."

50 12% Credo (2008) - Nov 10, 2012
60 14% Inkubus (2011) - Nov 09, 2012
"The best actors are in supporting roles; the male lead, playing a stereotypical tough grizzled cop, is laughably bad. I did like the general premise, though."
