Five Minutes to Live

Liked this more than I should’ve just because of all the absurdity of it. Johnny Cash being pilled out randomly playing guitar while holding a house wife at gun point. If you don’t think that’s interesting on its face then you’re probably gonna hate this. Had some interesting stylistic technique loved the way the guns in this were utilized visually and the bank robbing sequence is pretty inspired but as a story it’s very much nothing (the interesting parts are around the edges about 50’s suburbia politics but that gradually goes away) and with someone who is not an actor like Johnny it can’t be rescued from a fate of mediocrity. Absolutely bizarre ending.
