Captain America: Brave New World

It's not a bad movie, but it could've been so much better. Brave New World starts strong, introduces a new setting, and puts a Captain America without superpowers at the center... and while that sounds intriguing, it might throw some people off. How does a guy without enhanced strength stand a chance in a world full of gods, mutants, and sorcerers? With charisma, grit-and a few stumbles in the script.

There are ideas that work and others that just float aimlessly. The return of characters like Sterns might catch you off guard if you're not up to date with the MCU. The film tries to balance political conspiracy with superhero action, but the pacing feels uneven, like the editing couldn't quite decide between spectacle and drama.

Anthony Mackie gives it his all and delivers, but it's clear the script doesn't support him the way it should. Harrison Ford is a great addition, but he doesn't shine as much as expected either. The action is well shot, and there are moments that grip you, but between all the characters, subplots, and explanatory dialogue, it's hard to stay fully engaged.

It's not a trainwreck, but it's not a triumph either. Just another entry in the MCU that's mildly entertaining but ultimately feels like a missed opportunity. A film that leaves you wanting more, especially from a saga that once stood for greatness.
