Citizen X

Stephen Rea excels in the role of forensic investigator in the now-extinct Soviet Union; communism could not afford the existence of a serial killer, something typical of capitalist societies, and even less that of the greatest serial killer in history, Andrei Chikatilo, "The Butcher of Rostov." Real events in a story that hooks the viewer until leaving him wanting to know more about the work carried out by this forensic investigator. Sutherland shows us a character whom we hate with his mere presence. A film that no one should miss.
