Lost in Space
Overall, it works. It’s not groundbreaking science fiction, but it delivers exactly what it promises: space adventure, survival challenges and a family struggling to overcome impossible situations.
Visually, the series stands out. The special effects are impressive for a TV production and create immersive alien environments. That sense of exploration — strange planets, mysterious technology and constant danger — keeps the story engaging.
The plot can sometimes feel unnecessarily complicated. Problems and solutions stack up quickly, which occasionally makes the narrative harder to follow than it should be. It’s not confusing, but it does feel like the show keeps adding obstacles to maintain momentum.
Still, the family dynamic holds everything together. The Robinsons feel believable, and the show captures the spirit of classic adventure storytelling.
Not exceptional, but solid and entertaining science-fiction television.
