Widows

A solid and entertaining film that offers much more than a simple heist thriller. The story, directed by Steve McQueen, combines tension and social drama in a plot that explores both survival and the struggle of its characters in extreme circumstances. The performances are exceptional, with Elizabeth Debicki's role standing out, bringing a captivating depth and vulnerability to her character, making her emotional evolution one of the most impactful parts of the film. The film manages to hold the viewer's interest, balancing its action moments well with a more intimate reflection on empowerment and loyalty.
