A film that could have been so much more than what it is. Jesse LeRoy Brown was an American hero (read his autobiography) but this movie was made by those who don't mind completely changing a person's personality and motivations to push a narrative. This is a true shame because Jesse deserves to be remembered and celebrated. His true story is of gritty determination and true brotherhood formed by war but that's not the story these filmmakers wanted to tell. I absolutely can not recommend this film! Points given for the brilliant effects and the gripping end of the film that is absolutely based on what truly happened during Jesse's last day on earth.
