I finally got around to watching this! (Thanks Tubi!)

The costumes and all the scenery in this sucked me in. Everything is so vibrant even though it's a dreary movie. The madness of going on a journey doomed to fail because of Greed and Pride are always interesting. What surprised me the most about this film is that it's basically only 90 minutes. I was expecting something like this to be a three and a half hour long epic! It's wonderfully short and punchy!

The thing that I thought a lot about while watching this is how perfectly boring everything look today. People are not allowed to be ugly or have dirt on their face. Everything looks so fake and artificial. That new Odyssey film by Nolan looks like it's going to be a bunch of models playing mock battles with no real danger. It's kind of depressing to be honest that we lost that form of art with domestic films in the USA. At least foreign films are still killing it at period pieces and there's always the odd director like Robert Eggers that does his thing. Anyways, this film just has so much atmosphere that I wish more modern films looked like it!
