All About My Mother

This is my second movie directed by Pedro Almodóvar after "The Skin I Live In." I think it's incredibly unfair to this movie because nothing can beat that first experience! I have to be honest and say that I really didn't like this movie at all until maybe the last half hour or so. The plot does not really interest me and so many stories like this have been done better. The only stand out to me is the brilliant acting done by all of the ladies in this. In particular, the scenes with Lola are amazing! But, overall, I can't say that I liked this movie. I probably will give this another chance, but it's was kind of a tough movie for me to get through. At least I can look forward to the last half hour of this again!
