This was quite enjoyable, as documentaries go! I didn't feel like an idea was being sold to me as gospel, and there weren't any cringe interviews. There were a few moments when I wished we could have stayed with a scene a little longer, but for the most part, I really enjoyed the art and spent a lot of time thinking about what it all meant.

I enjoy art that has a lot of work put into it, and Jackson Pollock can eat his rotting heart out. "Modern art" is such a loaded phrase, and I hate how little effort is put into some of it. Anselm Kiefer makes modern art that actually has a soul, and you can clearly see the thought and effort he puts into his work!
