Dark City

Another Clair Obscur type movie and this time it actually does get the feel of the weirdness in that game. But what's more surprising about this one is that it's really crazy and predates The Matrix! The cast is also pretty stacked and I love the characters as thy figure what's going on. My only real fault with this is the pacing feels off at times and the ending escalated too quickly. I think a remake of this would be perfection!

I might as well watch another "Matrix" film while I am at it. This is my second time watching this and I more or less have the exact same opinions. I really like the concept but feel the pacing is off. The ending is rushed and I still feel like this is missing something that would make this a masterpiece in general. As I said in the other review, a remake of this film would be insanely good. It would be a shame not to have Jennifer Connelly in it though. Also Keifer Sutherland is a really funny character in this one too! I will lose my mind if a remake of this ever gets announced!
