Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
So, I was not originally going to watch this but Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde should be considered a Universal Movie monster! Also, I am watching this out of chronological order as most people don't count this movie for some reason. (The next movie will also be out of order...)
Anyways, I was not expecting to like this as all as the start of this film is quite boring and tedious to get through. The thing is though that the technical execution in this film is astounding! It's crazy good for it's time and seems to be very influential! It's not as charming as the other films but the acting is great. Also, it would have been great to see a remake of this with Willem Dafoe, but at least we got something like this with his role as Green Goblin!
